Don't get me started on the female vocals.

I understand that 12 minus 10 is 2, but that's it.

I've always found that lyric really creepy, is he saying keep a bit extra room in your dress for his knob?

5th January is a regional day of mourning in Stoke-On-Trent as they lament the long-gone glory of Rory Delap's really long throw-ins.

Aye not recently, but that's an outcome of the ridiculously bad luck in the first place.

Not an ounce of flab on Cabaye, man. Doesn't look like the number 8 at all.

Gazza? Although he was pretty quick before he got old.

Watford (A) FA Cup - Sat 9th Jan at 3pm (not on TV) - Pre-match thread

Any sort of success would give him a whole new lease of life and a few years longer to bleed the club dry. Nobody would remember his interview, hence why it's a cynical comment he'll never be held accountable for even if by some miracle we fluke a cup or top 4 place. -
Yeah 3 strikes and you're out.

OK. Think we're OK then mate.

Ah yes, that rings a bell. Cheers, makes sense. -
nah Thought my last sentence might help what I was trying to convey like, mojo That I'm gonna dig that shit up next September and pointlessly post it on here once the transfer windows have passed

Someone yesterday made a good point about how in a way because he was so much better than the rest of the team, he actually had less of a license to try things and fail because the rest of the team wasn't good enough to regain possession. If we'd had a team that was good enough (or in our collective opinion, that was managed properly) he'd have been able to do more, more often and even the dumbest in our fanbase would probably see that he's worth playing every game. Think it's wishful thinking though, unless we get a manager who comes and completely transforms the club and the mindset of the fans in the way that Wenger did at Arsenal, we've essentially got no chance. They stumbled on an out of favor player that was available cheap. He turned out to be more than we could have ever imagined, but not enough to motivate the idiots in charge to build something worthwhile with him at the forefront. That's why this club will forever be irrelevant. Nothing is bigger than the plan to keep the billionaire rich. Football doesn't mean shit here. Who cares if the product is garbage. As long as we stay up we're golden. In 50 years Ashley will definitely be long gone, we have time Michael. We'll get his spoiled, disinterested son that knows even less about running a football club though, obviously. Unless a Newcastle fan buys the club, or some oligarch looking for a way to play with his blood money nothing will ever change. There are more Ashleys out there. Nah I don't think so, Ben Arfa was the perfect Newcastle player but a few years too late. Going forward, who knows I suppose but I still think our fans will always love that type of player if we're not constantly in the midst of a crisis or relegation dogfight. Surely someone will buy into that tradition, I'd say it's rotten bad luck that it hasn't happened so far. Turning us around as a club seems an attractive proposition to me, imagine being the man that did that.

Just a shame Ben Arfa was here under the most slippery flak-dodger that's ever been a manager.

Remember what was said when McClaren came in, that there'd be significant investment spread over 3 transfer windows. IIRC he seemed to suggest it would be allocated pretty evenly over all 3. So if we don't spend 40 or 50 million quid in January I can only assume they're being cautious in case we get relegated. Either that or they were lying or something.

Nah it pure works cos most keepers are tall and skinny or summit.

That fuck-up against Man Utd (which was partly Krul's fault too) and he was never seen again IIRC. Carver slagged him afterwards.

Are the scores generally well down versus last year, due to the mad results we've seen?
