I think some of it is down to misplaced spite towards those organising it as well. As in "Who are they to tell me what to do, it'll never work anyway". He may well have been trying to exert pressure on the owner for more funds, but the point I was making is that the way you repeatedly turn things around on one of the best men ever associated with the club in favour of proven liars is absolutely unreal. Why would wages have increased during those 12 months, when we only signed Remy / L De Jong on loan and IIRC moved a few players on?

Have they set aside the money for transfers after year-end, and added it to costs somehow? I know the likely answer to that is No but it seems strange that they've referred to it at the end like that, with no other explanation of increased costs.
