Although this wasn't directed at me I'm a member, buying tickets for most games with all of the time/hassle/money that involves and sitting all over the shop.

Was in disbelief when the DJ played Everyday Is Like Sunday at HT on Sunday I'm sure I've heard it in the ground before but that was a great way to make a dreary atmosphere even drearier. Just play bangers, man.

I'm absolutely fascinated that you're so certain there are no drawbacks whatsoever, for literally anyone else but yourself Sitting in a curvy modern placca joy vacuum instead of an actual football ground for one. There's not one new ground in the UK I'd rather watch games in than ours. I'm still to be convinced that we'll be the first English football club to achieve a matchday experience that isn't completely naff/sanitised/artificial/whatever compared to what we already have, imperfect as it is.

To the wanker in the platinum club who had a go at me for CLAPPING TOO LOUD, you are a CUNT and I hope you end up destitute so you can't bring your ridiculous fucking attitude into SJP ever again. Overall thought it was a canny atmosphere tonight relative to a lot of recent games
-
@LFEE I respect you massively as a fan and a person (hopefully that's clear already :)), but... You should surely accept that some people's preference is to stay at SJP without claiming the club won't be able to compete if it goes down this road. Lots of us simply don't agree with that. And feel that the drawbacks of a move outweigh the benefits. I'm one of them. I'm not sure when the dial shifted but that's previously been a fair position to hold, and as far as I'm concerned it still is.

Must write him off ASAP. -
Heard someone on the way out the ground saying "we weren't all over them or anything" and "we didn't press them" Football knowledge off the scale.

Seeing this screen when trying for resale tickets for Wolves/Bournemouth, anyone had the same? @bobbydazzla your fast fingers must have caused you such problems.
-
No, I'm buying tickets match-to-match. I'm not convinced a new ground would lead to loads more affordable season tickets tbh.
-
Ah that's good that the game will be played on a fair and even playing ground.

Spurs was meant to be the new ground that bucked the trend in terms of atmosphere / not feeling a completely soulless environment. What are the examples of new grounds that don't feel completely naff compared to somewhere like SJP? As far as I can see there are none, certainly not in this country. This is why I'm still firmly against moving. Moving from a proper football ground to a soulless structure and never being able to turn the clock back sounds a nightmare. I also don't want us to make a forever decision on the basis of FFP, a situation that is relatively new and may not be here for that long for all we know.

Spurs never should have sacked Poch, it was obvious then and they're still suffering for it now. Reminds me of another situation closer to home.

Pope's knee being in a good place suggests it's still halfway down his leg, which sounds positive. -
What are your favourite footballer nicknames? A few I am fond of: Fitz Hall - One Size Lee Clark - Jigsaw (falls to pieces in the box) Shola Ameobi - Carl Cort

What about this current ownership tells you they're building towards selling our best player for big money and replacing him with someone comparitively cheap and much worse? They've hoyed every spare pound they can at the squad. A bit of pessimism is fine but not when it makes zero sense.
