I for one think it's refreshing having someone on here who tells it like it is, end of.

The next player to stop gambling should be ordered to ring the parents of Ray Winstone and tell them his reasons.

Seaman Walker Terry Ferdinand Cole Bellingham Ince Gascoigne Saka Kane Rooney ... would be mine I reckon. Prefer Foden to Saka personally but Saka's output has been better so far.

He's such a dude man, hope he actually said these exact words in English

https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/s/qr3Daot0vv Chilavert with some horrible homophobic comments which apparently isn't unusual for him, but I learnt in the comments that former Argentinian manager César Luis Menotti hates Chilavert and has made some pretty funny remarks about him in the past

Isak's going to be the one I'm saddest about, if/when he ever goes. Especially if it's to them wankers Arsenal.

Peak Hargreaves / Ince / Batty would get in this England team if we must persist with the current system. Putting Lampard, Gerrard or Scholes in would probably cause similar problems except this time they're nullifying Bellingham instead of each other.

My colour blindness / general ignorance is coming back to haunt me again here like it's a bit of blue/purple innit? I only really associate full rainbow colours with LGBTQ. The fact they've drawn attention to it probably does tell a story though yeah. It's just such a nothing story though, really couldn't care less. So much horrible shit going on out there, this is nothing.

Yeah if it wasn't the main badge and just one of the other bits of the shirt. Even the main badge, clubs have been doing those one colour versions for years. If the middle bit of a cross on the back of the shirt is giving you a crisis of national identity then I don't know what to say to you.
-
I don't understand how it's woke or whatever btw? It's a design choice. It's like if Adidas decided to put the middle bit of our badge on a new shirt somewhere but changed the colour of the border to fit with the colour scheme of the shirt. A load of bollocks for meatheads to fume over. Starmer is fucking pathetic for jumping on it n'all.

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Ivan Juric to Southampton
Interpolic replied to cp40's topic in Football
There's loads of reasons to want it to be true and the top one isn't even how shit Southgate would be there. It's that it would prove straight away that owld J-Rat ain't got the first fucking clue what he's doing. -
Dyer was very fast, had brilliant close control and was excellent at bringing the ball forwards from midfield. But his decision-making in the box and finishing were frustrating. His numbers were never as good as they should have been, and obviously he had loads of injuries. In a modern 433 he could play in Willock's position but probably on the LW as well. As one of a 2 in the middle of a 442 he probably had too much defensive responsibility to affect the game going forward as much as he could. Can remember thinking "Why haven't we tried this before?" when he played up front vs Southampton in the FA Cup. He scored a brace and looked amazing. Really talented player but his availability and end product were always the main frustrations holding him back.

Barnes had been highly rated for years and had scored 10+ goals from the wing for a few consecutive seasons prior to us signing him. £38m is not too much for a proven PL goalscorer of that age. There'd been talk of £60m valuations before Leicester got into trouble. Whether we should be targeting a different profile of player is a different issue but if we wanted to buy Barnes then the fee was fine.

If you're going to bang on about wage bills to the extent you have then you can't claim 8th is par "with some bad luck" when we have the 8th highest wage bill.

No, all that matters is the wage bill.
