Had wondered where Shola would be off to.

Making a loss on a guy who was a bargain at £5m after having just broken his leg with only a few matches in English football under his belt. Well done to all concerned.
-
That's the club's version though, yeah? Are fans banned from releasing their own versions, or do they simply have to hold fire until the club's done theirs?
-
The stuff the club sees fit to speak out and correct the press on is often hilarious like. Some clubs go all out to say their best players aren't for sale, our lot get pissed off when the press report we'll be spending some of the money that's sat there in the form of the profit we've made in the last 3 seasons. Couldn't make it up.

Reckon they were quoting the UK population figure and got misquoted. Probably something to do with there being plenty of British to go around with resorting to forrins.
-
I'd like to see Barkley feature as much as possible, starting in the opening match might be a big ask though.
-
International footballers preparing to be in, or actually being in, Brazil for the World Cup will apparently be an insurmountable problem in no time. Talk is cheap with these people, what they promise never comes to fruition.
-
It would surely cost £5m max to get rid of Pardew and his staff, would gladly take the hit on that and call it £55m.
-
Let the spin begin.
-
Fuck off man. Need a national referendum on this shit.
-
It is fucking impossible to report anything first on this forum. 2 or 3 times today I've tried to do it and been like 3 minutes too late.

At least he's likely to get a game at Man Utd, you'd think young English players would think twice about signing for Man City or Chelsea these days if they had any sense.
-
He was probably doing this originally:
-
It's funny like. Suppose the only people it really inconveniences or affects are the journalists, but still. Vauxhall will have been mentioned on loads of news sites and social media, so job done. It's the sort of thing Sports Direct refuses to pay for.
-
http://imgur.com/1ugkxMM.jpg Can't believe they're announcing the squad at the Vauxhall HQ in Luton.
-
He doesn't, but they'll need a much bigger squad next season. They were going week to week barely changing the side this year.
-
Absolute morons, trying to push on when they've recently exceeded expectations. Could get by next season without signing anyone.
-
Tbh that might be a reaction to him finally being pulled up these things when previously he's got away with whatever he fancied saying without much fuss. The negative newspaper articles, the banners, the chants and abuse. He said in a radio interview the other day something along the lines of "I'm often accused of making excuses but you have to give reasons for the team's performances..." so it was as if he knew he'd been rumbled and was trying to explain it away. Probably explains the (relative) humility he's shown in recent weeks too.
-
This is what I've been trying to articulate for a while.
-
He's such a bellend. Been moaning about losing his best player for 4 months yet he's still licking the hoop of the man responsible.
-
Ah FFS, reading those articles winds me up something chronic. Bet they come up with something that implies we're going to try to get over the first hurdle in the cups, as if that's big of them.
