This is him making that "point": What will it take you to change your mind? I'm not having the whole good football bullshit, Wigan went down with that. Position wise? Top 4? Top 6? Top 8? ....a trophy? What will it take for people to accept Pardew again and support him and the players? If by some miracle Pardew does get us into the top 5 again or win a trophy, though I still wouldn't like the t***, he would have gained more respect for turning it around. The thing is though, it just doesn't look at all likely. So you would still want him gone if a trophy or top 5/6 finish came? This is my point.

Ah but his supporters wouldn't be able to use the justification of him not spending a dime on those matchday advertising countered by not seeking interest on his loan though. Now we know why he doesn't take back any of that loan. Wow. -

Anita, MYM and Debuchy were reportedly 6 or 7 million apiece, then there were the other 3 for a couple of million each. Works out, give or take. -

Such a Giggs that the player is genuinely 40-years-old now.

The profit / debt repayments on next year's accounts will be mental, having seen 2 transfer windows with no transfer spend, numerous high earners shifted off the books and £20m+ brought in by player sales. -

Who's "we"? I don't think I ever thought he was finished. How many people have to think/say it to constitute it being "we"?

Yeah, I've supported the club since I was 7 or 8, thanks.

What a cringeworthy bell end. Can't even imagine how ecstatic I'm going to be when he gets sacked. Glad to see him happy...If that was Keegan or Bobby nowt would be said. Infact you would be loving it. Boring WUM.

I know this is controversial and some might not like to hear it, but if we'd shown some ambition to build on a decent first half of the season then the likes of Remy might well be more interested in staying for next season. Rocket science! Don't be daft. You haven't even considered science there. Edit: Ah shit, you considered rocket science, fair do's. Nah, you're right - any player that believes in their own talent wants to feel like they're at a club that is going places. Now we've made it explicitly clear that we're happy to plod along we will encounter this problem more and more. Imagine being a player and hearing your manager saying "Thank God we're not in Europe".
-
Aye, Pardew apparently said words to the effect of Everton have been perceived to have had a great season, whereas we're perceived to have done the opposite, yet there are only 5 points between us. He's a tireless self-publicist, basically writing his own newspaper articles now.
-
What was Chapman on about saying it's been perceived as a bad season for us? It fucking isn't, that's the whole point of the fans' frustration. I think he was paraphrasing Pardew tbf.

Bit depressing when your best attacker doesn't belong to the club and it looks iffy whether he ever will.
