Yep, it's been clear for over 12 months, might as well add it to list of concerns about Pardew that he hasn't been able to spot this. Mind blowing stupidity.

Jesus man, this point has been done to death and is really idiotic. Except it's definitely not, because it will 100% be mentioned if we lose. It's just irrelevant though, if we lose it doesn't matter what he says. We know he talks bollocks. The 'when we get battered' was probably what got me. Well if it doesn't matter then why the hell are you so bothered? It's like any criticism of Pardew hurts you, that's how it comes across. I'm off to bed, so I'll be answering no questions etc. Was just saying.

Not sure I agree, the vote of confidence isn't looked at too well either, is it?

It's a clever widget that Rich or someone put up there, your eyes only see it when you've 100% lost faith in Alan Pardew. I've been able to see it for ages.

2014/15 NUFC Kits - New third kit revealed on page 143

They're fucking rank. Puma actually managing to start going backwards. -
Well said. Football fans argue about who deserved to win a match every week yet this discussion is out of bounds.

Good, cos he is.

Hughton had us safe as houses with a far inferior squad, I personally think he could have done a decent job with better players and it's a shame he wasn't given the chance to. I don't see how he wasn't a leader either, he's one of the most important figures in our recent history for the way he led us out of the Championship when everyone was petrified we'd be down there for a number of years.

Your mate's a fucking pure spanner.

I blame the front cover of this edition of The Mag in so many ways, I keep on seeing it knocking about my flat and it pisses me off so much. http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0168/9134/products/The_Mag_Issue_270_NUFC_1024x1024.jpg?2033

If we go down then I think we're at the point again where we have to hope Ashley cuts his losses and finds a buyer, he's done some good things recently but a club like ours turning into some sort of yo-yo club is unacceptable. If we stay up then Pardew needs to go or else we approach next season with trepidation and hopelessness.

Players can be sold if it doesn't work out. Managers: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22336538 It's still a small price to pay IMO, if you've got any degree of common sense.
-
I don't understand this stuff about the manager's wages. We'll quite gladly pay players over 40 grand a week but won't pay the same for a top manager? Ashley's fucking boneheaded if that's true, it makes no sense to scrimp and save on the most important role at the club.

Knew 20/1 was ridiculously good value after the mackems shambles.

Wigan have been in this position for the last 4 seasons, did it matter to them then that they were behind teams? Actually they've never been behind on points before at this stage of the season. Every other time they've been in a relegation battle they've been either level on points with 17th or ahead of them by the time they hit 34 games. So they've left it later to overtake teams this year, it's still a situation they're used to and you'd have to have nerves of steel to dismiss the possibility.
-
I've just done it with Wigan getting 7 points and us getting 1 and we go down by a point but effectively 2 points due to the goal difference disadvantage vs Wigan/Norwich. Admittedly a fairly negative POV I've taken there, but fairly justified and certainly possible. This weekend is so crucial.
-
Biggest game in our recent history, I don't fancy our chances of bouncing back again if we go down and the longer we leave it without getting a win the bigger lottery it is.
-
We definitely deserve to go down IMO, any side that goes out to stifle the opposition rather than play their own game to the extent we do deserves all they get. I've been embarrassed at the vast majority of our performances this season, the football is straight from the dark ages.
-
Not sure anyone's saying it is, I think people are just saying it's a possibility given their fixtures and the fact they've been in these circumstances and excelled before.
-
Not a chance in hell will they. Well I disagree, it seems we've reached a brick wall, neesy.
