  1. LOWLIGHTS MORE LIKE, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! f*** it, can I die soon please. Yep. I am sure the City Hall will make a statue of you. A portrait of you going mental, like chewing your own hat or something, after another consented goal. Then the label would say: To the memory of: Interpol Local hero, martyr and Internet user Killed himself after a League Match Fair do's man, that post's hilarious.
  2. It seemed like the sort of performance where the players were expressing that they didn't want to play for the manager anymore. Hardly any effort whatsoever.
  3. LOWLIGHTS MORE LIKE, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! f*** it, can I die soon please. Ha! I was thinking about this after the game Death? Aye, that keeps on happening to me after our games as well. It's surely preferable. I'm not being morbid at all, just logical.

  5. Again, I think it's hot air. Llambias is a glorified politician. He changes his tune all the time and will do so again, on this issue. We were following the Villa model and then the Arsenal model, etc. When it was good PR to push the 8 year stability angle he did it. I don't place any significance on what they say in the press. Okay, put it this way. I think they're gambling on Pardew keeping us up - they'd have done it ages ago if they thought he was a busted flush. They're also gambling on Pardew doing much better next year. Assuming we don't actually go down, it's the cheapest option. I don't think they could have possibly realised how bad it could have got this season, nor could you or I. FWIW I've generally wanted to stick with him until the summer because I thought we'd get away with it and the summer's a better time to get a good manager. I don't see how it's the cheapest option to keep him, I think that's incredibly short-sighted. It's dearer to keep him because they'll have to keep bailing him out, then you've got the fact we could have got £10m plus for Tiote last summer and now we'd be lucky to get half that. There are countless examples like that all over the squad, what used to be hot commodities with a high value have now become tainted goods that won't fetch in much money. It makes no sense to keep a useless manager, it's a costly exercise. Far more costly than a few million compensation for Pardew, his staff and his replacement's club. Makes perfect sense to me and I hope you're right. This lot very rarely do sensible though. They think they know better than everyone else, that's how we ended up with fucking Pardew in the first place. They'll believe last season can be repeated. Aye, I think we've reached the point between us here actually - we're dealing with a total enigma in Mike Ashley and we'll just have to see what happens. I'm just taking it from the perspective that he's all about money and common sense says Pardew will lose him money, but like you say he might think he knows better than common sense I suppose.

That daft cunt's getting relegated tbf, we're only maybe getting relegated.

  8. That is pure rubbish, sorry. You make money by being successful. We're buying good players and the manager hasn't a clue, therefore it makes no financial sense to keep him on. Not really. Most people will still go to games if we become a bad premier league team season after season. The TV money will still be huge etc As long as Ashley makes money he'll be happy He's signing good players and he'll know that by now. Even marginally more success earns him more money, he won't be happy with some daft cunt losing him money.
  9. They spent more money in January than it would have cost to sack Pardew and get a decent manager in. It hasn't worked, hopefully they'll spot the weak link now. I obviously want Pardew gone, but I'm honestly at the stage now where I can only think of someone like Carver and Stone stepping up to take the last 3 games. How the fuck do we deal with that? There's fucking no one on this planet willing to take over as our manager for 3 games now? I'm not even talking immediate future mate, I haven't got a clue what we do for the rest of this season - I'm just hoping if I keep my fingers crossed we'll be OK.
  10. That is pure rubbish, sorry. You make money by being successful. We're buying good players and the manager hasn't a clue, therefore it makes no financial sense to keep him on. Not necessarily. Arsenal. By success I mean finishing near the top of the league and not nearly getting relegated, Arsenal are actually the perfect example to illustrate the point.

  14. Why? Because he apparently gets along with them? I don't get it. I think he'll get binned. There's no honour with people like Ashley and Llambias so I don't know why people are giving the idea they won't f*** their mate over any credence. Yes, they've got him under their thumb but they could have another manager under their thumb. Who? They couldn't even have Hughton under their thumb. No disrespect to the man, but it's not like he had a history of success, or even a credible CV. Who are they going to convince to come and work under them? I'm sure he'll be worrying about his 8 year contract decision because he seems like an exclusively self involved cunt. He won't want to look bad after apparently starting to get things right. I also don't think he really knows how to be pro active. He's an opportunist that seems to benefit from the misfortune of others and his propensity to sell shit. That doesn't bode well for us. What's our owner got in his locker to change this, never mind our manager? We're getting more continental with everything we do, I don't see why someone couldn't come in as first team coach and do a similar job to what they were doing abroad. And I don't think Ashley's that arsed about what people think, and if he is then he'll look a hell of a lot worse when he's getting everything right off the pitch and he's being made to look a fucking idiot on it. I think this "we can't do any better than Pardew" stuff is a sad reflection of the Ashley regime and I don't think it's actually true. I'll stick my neck out and say I'd be really surprised and disappointed if Pardew is in charge in August, I just don't see how it could be allowed to happen now.
  15. Why? Because he apparently gets along with them? I don't get it. I think he'll get binned. There's no honour with people like Ashley and Llambias so I don't know why people are giving the idea they won't fuck their mate over any credence. Yes, they've got him under their thumb but they could have another manager under their thumb if they wanted, and that person could make their job easier / more profitable so why wouldn't they?
  16. A 0-3 defeat at home to the mackems didn't do it, in fact he seemed taken aback at how harsh the (relatively mild) criticism was after that horrible defeat. No idea if he's on the same page as the board with thoughts like that, but you know. Today was our worst home defeat since 1925 and it wasn't against a team blitzing the league or anything, it was against an average Liverpool side missing their best player. I don't think he'll get sacked off the back of this defeat either but we'll see. So what does he have to do to get the bullet? Is he bulletproof? If you think not then how much do you think he'll have to fuck up before he's sacked?

Seems harsh as fuck that like, he's a nice lad from my experience. Which article you on about anyway?
  18. You're funny as fuck. I think Inochi's just shown himself to have incredible tolerance levels this year, I've no idea how someone can be so optimistic in the face of so much horrible shit happening left, right and centre. Tbf I did have it in the back of my mind that he might end up being sort of right, our form might pick up a bit and it'd be sort of alright. I don't think anyone could have seen these results coming, no matter what your outlook. 0-3 and 0-6 against the mackems and Liverpool is just so catastrophic.

Man, I'm getting into the business of dissecting this daft cunt's quotes again. Here goes then, what the fuck is he on about with this experience stuff? It sounds like yet another excuse. It's just vague fluff. How could he have taken advantage of more experience, by playing Shola and Harper?

I've had a couple message me on Facebook saying stuff along the lines of "everything you've been saying played out exactly like that today", etc. Again, I take no pleasure in it whatsoever - in fact I think I've been a bit wrong to a degree like because (and I'm not taking the piss here) I didn't think it could get this bad. I thought we were dealing with a guy that would lead us to dull, uninspiring and ultimately very limited football that wouldn't get us anywhere - I had no idea it could have got this bad with the personnel available and I'm absolutely flabbergasted that we're one of the favourites for relegation at this stage. Ignore the Pardew stuff for a moment and we, as a club, have underperformed so massively this season it's unreal. Just hoping there's not a horrible twist to come.

I can't even believe what I've just read there. He did a canny job today then you thought? The players just made us look a bit of a mess with the way they played? That was our heaviest home defeat since 1925, 2 weeks ago we had by far the most humiliating result in the time I've been supporting the club, don't know about you. But nah, he's doing OK, the players just aren't organised enough or something. Are you taking the mick or what? Erm, what? I thought his apology/reaction was alright in the NUFCTV piece but have complained bitterly all night about stuff he got wrong in about 10 threads on here. Where the f*** did I say he was doing an alright job? The only thing I was questioning was whether some of the basic errors were down to players or rubbish instructions. Perch, Tiote and Jonas were abysmal for tracking their men, whether that's because they weren't sure who to track or if they're because they're thick is what's got me stumped. Soz mate, I actually mis-read your post. Thought you said "I thought that was OK from him personally" and presumed you were talking about his performance today. I haven't read his comments after the game, can somebody post them please? Again, apologies - jumped on you for no reason there.

Really don't know how anybody can defend him. It's driving me crazy, nearly as much as Pardew himself is. People on here mock and bash Pardew for his godawful excuse making and constant attempts to pour cold water on expectations with depressing negativity - but the fact is for the majority it seems to be working. People have lapped up the Europe, injuries etc excuses. A successful brainwashing campaign has given a shite manager untouchable status amongst a large section of the fanbase. Fucking unreal. If blindly backing the manager as he guides us towards relegation is the virtues of the level-headed matchgoing fan then I think I'd rather be with the social media mentalists who want the cunt gone. Very good post, you've hit the nail on the head in terms of what's driving me mental at the minute. People talk to me like I'm a fucking nutcase when I express my opinion on this. You do realise he just called us mentalists like Aye, worra prick.
