To be fair to him the table's always going to be top-heavy when you look at it like that, i.e. the top few teams will have more points than in reality. The team that wins the league drops points where you wouldn't expect, most people are never going to predict wins for Wigan against Man Utd or the mackems against Man City. You could make an argument for saying it should balance out a bit with predictions for their games versus better teams, but you'd be tempted to back the team at the top of the league most of the time regardless. That doesn't explain Wolves though.

Should have had a proper go at him instead of simply blowing their own trumpet, glad something's been said though.

That article reads really badly like, the whole thing's such a fucking farce now. How many Hillsborough stories have we had this season alone? The thing with poor Alan Davies was the worst.

Daft fucking wimp should be in hiding.

Man Utd's reaction to that incident just goes to show how few big decisions actually go against them, especially at home. Sure I read something last week where one of their players was still going on about it. Get over it FFS. It wasn't a penalty imo, but it wasn't even a cast-iron non-penalty either as there was a case for giving it - I've seen far, far worse decisions given against us over the years and with far, far greater frequency.

Hope we have the title tied up by February next season, if only to avoid talking about this fucking nonsense for months.

Ah, I'd say Bent was an excellent goalscorer for them in the couple of seasons he was there, but that's a bit like saying Bellamy was brilliant in that season at Blackburn or whoever. So what? As in players I rate that you'd predominately associate with Sunderland, I'm struggling after Phillips.
