Ah, Pardew, nice. Players are going to be queuing up to sign for us in January.
  2. I don't think I would go there on those terms, not that they are a bad terms or anything*, just I wouldn't trust Ashley not to change the rules. *Far, far better wages than he's on at Sainsbury's. (No offence Stifler, that's how I interpreted what you were saying).

Despite the performance at West Brom, at the weekend I was confident that we'd stay up. Now I think it'll be touch and go whether we get relegated or not. I can't get this spiteful sabotage theory out of my head now. Is there a precedent for this? Where an owner has fucked over a club out of spite rather than incompetence? I just can't come to terms with this shit tbh. The possibility of Jol coming calmed me down a bit yesterday, but I'm fuming again. There was just no need for this man.
  4. Nil. What self-respecting man would allow himself to be sacked, replaced and the become no.2 to his successor? Would you do that if you lass got rid of you, replaced you and asked you to be "back-up" for whenever he was away on business? Well, if I didn't have much else going on... Yeah. If she was a good fuck, without the hassle and that. This sounds ace, man.
  5. Hmm, I dunno. Depends how desperate he is to get back into the Premiership and how much Ashley and Llambias may or may not have already lied to him. If we end up getting someone like Pardew in then I'm with Dave in the sense that they're deliberately fucking us over, but tbf I've said similar before. They're a fucking joke. I'll never trust them.
  6. Some good needed to come of this.
  7. He's been a dead man walking for weeks man. Decent result here and there has kept the wolf from the door. The last two away performances did for him. 2 out of 15 points. Chelsea have 5 points out of the last 18, doesn't mean a great deal. It's peaks and troughs especially in our position. I think we missed Barton and Nolan a lot. Our squad is thin as fuck.
  8. On his wikipedia page as being: P70, W37, L14, D17, 55.7% Wonder if that includes his care taking during the JFK fiasco. Either way, that's a fucking good record and no reason to be sacked. He was everything we needed this season and now it's all up in smoke because Ashley is a egomaniac. If I was to play Ronaldo-Advocate for a minute: If you only showed Premier League stats, what would it say... Ronaldo-Advocate.
  9. What? That was the main game on FSC that day. Ronaldo doesn't frequent any old dump, howay.
  10. Definitely not Luigi. He'd do that stupid fucking lean back walk he does up and down the touchline. Sod that. Yeah, counting out Mario's a bit harsh at this stage imo.

    Llambias

    He's a snidey little knobcheese.
  12. You're always going on about Benjamin Netanyahu., you're never going to meet him... Didn't take long.
  13. It's so abundantly obvious that the fans don't back this, but yeah I agree and have thought the same.
  14. Absolute joke of a day. They made statements before the season intimating that our ambitions were modest and fans should bear that in mind. In other words, hopefully we stay up and then move on from there. We're 11th after 16 games and now they sack the manager. I feel sorry for Hughton like many others do. I think he'll look at suspensions and injuries, particularly the one to Ben Arfa as it happens. The minute he broke his leg was the minute that our options were severely limited until January. We were largely stuck with the cloggers that brought us up. Perversely enough, I think if he'd picked up the points he has in a different manner then he might still have a job. If we'd been beaten as expected vs the likes of Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal, and only picked up draws against Villa and the mackems, but beaten some of the shite that have stifled us at home this season then it might have looked more as though things were going to plan. As it was, results have been erratic and that's been a concern. We have no solid home form to fall back on. But this is all bollocks really because it implies that this regime has an intelligence and nous that has not been shown since they took over. I never thought they'd sack Hughton because I didn't know of another decent manager who would put up with them on these terms. I said shortly after it was announced that Jol would be one of the only semi-realistic options I'd be happy with, so if it's him it's him. But if it's Pardew or any of those 'usual suspect' managers - that are out of work for a reason - then they can fuck off. Either way it's a disgraceful way to treat a man with class. I've supported Newcastle nearly 20 years and liked him more than anyone other than Keegan and SBR, and I'm pissed off that we're needlessly in this familiar position again.
  15. I noticed that. It'll be a good day for mackems regardless of this match, a win here would just be the icing on the cake.
