  1. Loved it yesterday when Nolan scored his first goal and the camera went to Hughton, all you could see was the Haris jump to his first to punch the air. For a second it gave me slight hope that he likes it enough here to resist the big teams coming in for him.
  2. Newcastle United? We can make a good sub for you. Perhaps slightly harsh on hughton like.
  3. Yeah, that certainly seems odd like imo. Who was on out of interest? It was Julie Doiron & also Construction or Destruction. I'm always envious of people seeing players in town as I never venture into the trendy parts so it was a pleasant surprise. He was with two girls, one of which was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. Ah man. I think The Cluny is far 'trendier' than the places you'd expect to see him though tbh, seems like he's gone up in the world. I suppose the Cluny is canny trendy. I guess mainstream is a better word. Places with bouncers, dress codes and top 40 music Honestly man, this girl. For a second that shit song by james blunt made sense.

  5. Just got in from an amazing gig at the cluny 2, seen Joey Barton come in and out a few times. Seems rare to spot a player about somewhere other than the clubs in town.
  6. It's class how attacking that line up is. Makes our starting eleven look boring as fuck imo.
  7. That chick who had got taped doing those sunderland players lives not far from me.
  8. My uncle used to play football with Peter beardsley around benton when they were kids.
  9. I don't understand why Ashley would be willing to let us know the price has been met when there still seems to be problems. It just adds more pressure.
  10. What are you on about? Ashley IS the club, if this was in fact true he would be behind it not oblivious to it for gods sake. Am not sure you understand what role the press play for the public either... How would I know how the club is run from the inside, I havn't got a f***ing clue. The club statement could be a club insider the way the press is, its about as clear as s***. Edit: mint.
  11. It would make no sense to release a statement stating the price at been met if ashley doesn't want to sell. It also makes no sense to release a statement to the public about it as it doesn't change anything yet. I assume this is why it was told to the press, not via the website? It's going to bite them in the arse if it doesn't come off or Ashley decides to stay. A bit to trigger happy from the club.
  12. What if the bear was raised around humans since birth, and taught tricks like any other pet is taught tricks? I don't know alot about the subject but I wouldn't think hanging around humans whilst growing up removes that natural killer instinct. It's probably beaten out of the bear.
  13. Harps Simpson Tayls Colo The Bull Guthrie Smith Barton Carroll Ranger McLoven If only to see a team with nobody who bugs me like.
  14. It's not really our place to do anything with bears, or any other wild animal really. The shit this bear would have went through to get to that state is probably beyond our imagination. It takes loads of generations to truly demostocate a wild species, this here is just a case of breaking the bear till he's fucked.
  15. this i find this sickening tbh, that is animal cruelty in my eyes i hope the bear will attack them some day, as it doesn't deserve to be treated like that Guaranteed food, and quiet comfortable lodgings ? Get a grip. Aye, there's nowt wrong with that like. Just look at Elisabeth Fritzl
  16. I know it seems like Hughton is scared to rock the boat with senior players but it might be that he genuinely thinks Butt and Nolan are amazing, which is even worse than him lacking the balls to drop them.
  17. He'd be my preferred choice out of the regular candidates. It wouldn't work though, he would inevitably butt heads with the board like. He'd probably only last one game here having made Derek cry and wee his pants.
  18. Whats the point of arguing it? Hughton will pick Butt regardless of how much more you know about football than him, choosing different on here isnt going to change that so why slate people for being realistic? What's this based on by the way? He could have easily started him on Sunday if he'd wanted to. I don't think he'll play when the others are fit. Smith's out. Which means technically we could have a great midfield without Butt, but Smith's our Captain in Butt's absence, so naturally Butt'll come back in to provide 'leadership'. Not that this has anything to do with it but didn't Butt say in an interview that he'd hope this season would see him used more sparingly because playing every week was doing him in. He's shite like.
  19. Won us the 3 points yesterday. Does that mean you don't think he almost cost us the 3 points yesterday. The bloke scores a goal & suddenly everyone seems to think he's a good defender. Aslong as we didn't concede like. It doesn't really matter what almost happened. I don't mind if he flukes his way through clean sheets or that other players have to help him out (smith), because that's just good teamwork. Or maybe with our support he'll naturally get better in English football. By that logic all the defenders have good games if we don't concede, and all the forwards have good games if we score. Crazy yep All that matters that we win and get out of this league, right?
