I haven't seen all of his predictions being drawn but by the ones I have seen he seems to go for the box to the right all of the time.

I'd hate to see Carrick to play for them, Thankfully though I don't think he will. He still does a decent job for Man Utd, his wages will be above what Sunderland could afford, and quite frankly I think a bigger club would take him, thts not to mention the fact that I think he would be unlikely to be willing to play for them.
-
I feel for Martins, he's now playing in a crap league, fair enough he might be getting a better wage and CL football but the league is poor. I few tweaks and he would of been a complete player, I always liked him and rated him, still do.

No, Toronto FC. I have a soft sport for Toronto seeing as they are the closest MLS team to me now! Not to mention the seeing Carver and Robert out there briefly. They are terrifically supported by MLS standards, closest thing to back home. However I will shamelessly be dropping them infavour of Vancouver next year! Going to try and drive three days to watch them! You monster.

Shouldn't be. It's of the city and local business's etc are surposed to be able to use. If you go to Middlesbrough then you will see local chippes with the Boro logo which was the same as the football clubs logo before they changed it a few years back.

Longbenton Cat&Dog shelter?

Hurry up Mike you cunt.

If they swapped Bent for Heskey then I will go out, buy a hat, then eat it.

No, Toronto FC.

We can give them all the money we want. It's about them endorsing the project and their logo being displayed on the shirt. Like you have already said, their worry is that it is an anti Ashley protest, we have to get the message across that this isn't the case.
-
Fuck, how can they say no to a donation? I don't even think you asked them for funds for the initial start up either. Can you not get back in touch with them and try to stress that this is for the foundations interest, it has no commercial/private profits and such?

I like that, the sponsor will look better I think when it isn't done on Photoshop within 5 minutes, but it shows it could be a good and well stylied shirt.

I should imagine Nike would have a system in place where sponsors and logo's can be added ontop of them and a bulk buy price guide aswell for any local teams wishing to use that shirt and possible sell on to fans. Ah so have we moved away from the Virgo idea now? No but this template seems to a popular design so Kaizero is finding out if this would be a viable option, if not then it looks like we will stick to the Virgo plan, if we are given permission from the SBR Foundation.

Apparently Colback has offers from other clubs and wants to leave Sunderland, and not just teams from the Championship. Anyway I'll get Ste to try and ask him as I lost contact with him a few years ago.

I know we said no clubs that play in Red and must be in a city that isn't a capital or regional capital but Toronto FC have a lot of ties with us. John Carver was mananger there, a number of former NUFC players have played and still do play for them, they have very good loyal following, and well plenty of people from Newcastle seem to of emigrated or know someone who has emigrated to Canada and possibly the Toronto area. You can fly direct from Newcastle to Toronto during the season aswell, and if booked at the right time the plane tickets can be very reasonable. Not only that but Toronto FC are underachievers in their league just like us. Oh and I believe for a small fee you can watch highlights and updates of them online aswell, I think you can watch games live online aswell for a small fee, but i'm not 100% on this. That should make keeping up to date with their progress a lot easier. I'll also put my hand up for Rangers but I know that is a touchy one.

Thats the one, the same one as the Notts County one without the Notts County crap, the only thing is it has a Black back for the most part. Is it possible to get some figures on having the coat of arms and sponsor put on and a bulk buy price to see if it is a viable option?
-
Can the shirt be Black with White stripes rather then White with Black stripes?, it looks better imo.
-
Thats nice. I wonder if there is a colour reversed version though.
-
i've just seen this on the shirts thread, apparently it's a template that you can buy blank, is it not possible to use this?, it has red on. http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/notts-county-10-11-nike-home-kit-3.jpg

So does that mean that £7,000 isn't the final sum, so £7,000 is needed plus design and production costs?
-
If the SBR Foundation said they didn't want their name on the shirt, would it not be possible to have no sponsor on the shirt but still donate all profits to the SBR Foundation?
-
Bent would be great alongside Carroll. Shame it will never happen Now that I have said I hope he leave or gets injured for 4 years, he's going to sign for us then get injured for 4 years. It's sods law.

Maybe you are remembering the half Ipswich and half NUFC scrafs we had last year. To me those scarfs are fine, but on a shirt it doesn't work and doesn't look right, infact it looks tacky. The only idea like that that seems reasonable is a reversable one. We would have to get some feedback from Ipwsich ans though, but I would take a guess and say that like us they would prefer their own shirts dedicated to SBR. If an NUFC shirt were to be manufactured, a similar ipswich shirt could be made and manufactured using the same template (except plain blue) Still though we should get in touch with the Ipswich fan club or similar to see what they think of the idea and if it would be a success. It though would have to be down to them to make it happen though, though I'm sure we could help them out, I.E. getting intouch with the SBR Foundation and shirt makers. It's a canny idea which should be explored should this work out, but we can't get too far ahead of ourselves already and start involving another club when we don't even know if the SBR foundation will be on board. It would also double the start up costs? All that’s needed is a simple black and white shirt that does justice to the traditions of the club and the loyalty of the supporters. If you can achieve that you’ll have done great job. Best of luck. Would be for the Ipswich fans to sort out themselves, we'd just give them aid through the experience we'd have making this happen and sharing whatever connections we'd made. Our shirt is our only priority. Well said, and as it has already been said, a good idea, I hope it comes off, best of luck and thanks.
