That's a bit like saying if James Perch wins us the game I'm all for it. If Keegan couldn't get goals out of Smith what makes anyone think Pardew will? Like I said, it's about time he scored for us. Anyway it doesn't matter, this is Wigan away. We are so unlucky here that even if we scored 10 goals today we'd probably still lose.
-
Krul Saylor Williamson Coloccini Enrique Barton Tiote Nolan Jonas Ben Arfa Carroll That is without seeing Gosling play for us though.

"That is nothing but speculation...." "But Chris, he's already at Newcastle on loan" "I am not aware of this." To be fair, I think Hughton may have only found out about it when it was in the papers that he had signed on loan, knowing Ashley.
-
Ben Arfa confirmed in the morning?

Apparently the FA have been on holiday since just before Xmas, and they don't come back until tuesday I think it is. Anyway that means no player can be registered until Tuesday, so he shouldn't be able to play. Then again just because he can play against us that means he will and probably score against us as well.

Even more surprising is the fact that it's wrote by the same people who write the Journal and the Sunday Sun who all think it's going to happen.
-
This would be great it if it happens. However, this is NUFC, and only NUFC can fuck things up that have never been able to get fucked up in the first place.
-
I expected to lose against both Man City and Spurs However this game is big but it was always going to be big because Wigan were always going to be a relegation rival. It's about time we won at Wigan, what is it now, 6 years and we haven't beaten them at home in all that time.
-
I'd take him on a 6 month loan deal, but no more then that. Adebayor would be a better option though.
-
Newcastle win a major trophy, I'm going to say the league because knowing us, we'd win the FA cup and get relegated in the same year.
-
It depends on each individual contract, but at the moment I'm fairly happy at how well we are doing. As far as I know we have the likes of Carrol, Krul, and Ranger have recently signed new contracts and they are promising players for the future. If today's news is to be believed and comes off it also shows that the club are willing to sit down with players who are for now aswell. I don't for one minute think that the large amounts of money is being thrown around, infact we can take that for a fact, but also we are at the moment atleast showing that we are being competitive and not everything is done on the cheap. What we also have to bear in mind is that all these news deals will include some sort of clause for if the club are relegated, so in future if we do have a terrible season again and end up relegated then we should still be able to keep players who could get us back up, and still afford it.

That could be the real ending I missed a bit out. Futre: "I'll give you £9 for the rubber duck" Arry: "Fuck off, I'm not a fucking wheeler dealer, I'm a football manager, go on fuck off".
-
Yes, complete with the number "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111!!!!!!!!!!"
-
I bet Arry didn't tell the end of the story. I said to him "Listen, you give me that £100k and the fortnight in Portugal and I'll let you have the number no.10 shirt no matter what anyone else says, and I'll throw in this rubber duck I picked up in the market for another £10, have we got a deal?"

To be honest the HBA thing is more important to me then Taylor, if Taylor decides to stay then thats a bonus. I'm sure something similar was mentioned a couple of months ago about HBA.

£1000 and some oversized headphones. Sounds like we are paying Semtex. Doesn't 5 and a half year deals seem to be the range at NUFC these days?
-
You see, you were getting worried about the lack of goals you were scoring, now your even scoring for the other team.

That just makes his bet more stupid and meaningful when he made it. Shows how (wrongly) confident he was. If anything there should be additional punishments if Nolan scores again. Did he actually say he would give up his membership if Nolan scored 8 goals and he didn't drink his own piss? How about we ban all the people who said they would eat their hat if we won and we did?, I don't remember any evidence of hat eating being shown on here. I'm not saying that, I'm disputing that it's harsh because it was a one way bet. He created the conditions. Not really, all he said was he would drink his own piss, I don't seem to remember him saying he could be punished if he didn't, though if someone wishes to prove me wrong then fair play to the mods for taking his word. You'd think he'd been arrested and thrown in jail for failing to drink his own piss. No, I just don't see where he ever agreed to being banned if he didn't do it? Why don't you drink his piss, then?! I'm not drinking piss. My arguement is that he never (to my knowledge) agreed to any sort of punishment if he didn't do it. Didn't realise a contract had been drawn up like. fucking hell man Stifler, it's a laugh. The lad should never have said he'd do it. Aye it's a laugh, but at the moment it seems like his ban will be permanent, I just think that if that is the case then it's harsh.

Eh?, if the defenders did what they were surposed to have done then it wouldn't have happened. The ball into the box should never have found a player because they should have been marked, however they stood still which resulted in about 3 or 4 Barca players being unmarked infront of goal, not really well worked but more of a case of weak defending in my opinion.

2-0, what happened to the defence there?
