  1. I predict 1-3 Chelsea Is it worth watching though, or can I watch Sweet home Alabama?
  2. I know, I just like to see it whens people's jokes fail, it's funnier then the jokes themselves.
  3. But we're not at home so we're not allowed to wear the home kit, dur. But theirs no colour clash, the home and away shirt situation only come into play when theirs a colour clash.
  4. I just don't see the colour clash between Black&White stripes and Yellow, hence the reason why we have a yellow away shirt. The only time it could clash is during the night when the flood lights come on and Yellow and White can appear to look similar in the floodlights, but that won't be a problem for a 3pm kickoff.
  5. 9 points deducted this season, however if they get relegated by more then 9 points then it maybe passed on next season, if they survive by less then 9 points or are relegated by less then 9 points then the deductions will stand for this season. I'm not sure if they will recieve points deductions for every season they are in admin or not, so it is possible that next season they could be deducted 9 points, with atleast another 15 points deducted for not having a CVA, which would be a total of a minimum of 24 points deducted next season. Now I wil try to explain that more simply. * 9 points will be deducted this season, however if Portsmouth go down by more then 9 points or survive by more then 9 points then they will be deducted next season instead. * Portsmouth for every season they are in adminstration or come out of adminstration but a CVA is NOT granted to them will be deducted atleast another 15 points, this is why Leeds were deducted another 15 points, because they did come out of adminstration but the courts never granted them a CVA. So in theory it is possible for Portsmouth to be deducted another 24 points or more next season.
  6. Good as that will mean it will be on at at my mates Justin's TV. Yeah, I think I know him aswell
  7. They don't have 4 games on the trot. And having looked at their fixture list earlier, i'd be amazed if they get another 10 points this season. I'm pretty sure they have 4 games on the trot left this season. They are having to look over their shoulder, and I believe that they are capable of getting 10 more points if they get their act together, but they are also capable of not getting them aswell if they continue to play as they are. The big question is though, are the Likes of Burnely, Hull, Wigan, Bolton, and Wolves all capable of getting more points then them?, I fear not.

    Season Tickets

If I get a job and don't have to work on awkward days then I will consider getting a season ticket again (I had to give my other one up at the end of the season before we went down). As it stands the job market is pretty shit at the moment and theirs not much good out look at the moment so the chances are slim, I may have to consider getting a half season ticket or one the year after.
  9. Nice, but the back needs to be Black.
  10. The first one is nice, but needs to be more Black then White, and I don't like the flick on the shoulder, it needs to be a solid colour from then on. The second is pretty much spot on, but something needs to be done on the black patch, maybe have the stripes the other way around.
  11. I wouldn't mind our club giving away free tickets, having a sell out crowd and another £90k or so profit on top of what they would already make.

  13. Al Fahim quits as Chairman and gives 10% of his shares to the fans. A fans satement says something about someone coming in to buy the club hopefully. They just can't see the sense can they, it's not going to happen, and him giving his shares away isn't a good, he's going to fuck the fans and club up.
  14. Bia. If thats the guy who skilled past everyone everwhere on the pitch then it's worth a look, it would be interesting to see if he can actually create something though or if he just goes around in circles.
  15. Going into the summer transfer window, if we get promoted, does anyone else think it would be worth a punt at trying to get Rodegella from Wigan? I know a few clubs would be after him, but if we did what we generally did in January and go about our business quietly we could maybe stand a decent chance.
  16. I'm still surprised Adidas didn't decide to keep us, unless they did but wouldn't offer as much as Puma, same with everyone else.
  17. I agree with everything there, except the Merchadise pot, maybe a percentage should go to the League and be split, like 10% (of profit) but not all of it. The Blackout one is also intersting, but it would have to mean lower prices or more reasonable prices, also all similar type (both adult, children, and area) tickets should be priced the same as everyone else, so no more paying more for Man Utd then Everton etc. Also it would stop people from saying well it's too expensive I'll just watch the highlights instead, and encourage more sell out games. I think it should also mean that teams are shown the same level of times (in the UK atleast) then any other team (where possible). Also, their should be a guy who comes around with the food like they do in America/Canada so the ques are a little smaller and during the game you don't have to miss anything. I know we did it a little while back, but everythime I've been since I never see the guy anymore, did they stop it?
  18. Not really, I mean if wages are kept reasonable etc, which under being employed by the EPL etc they would be. At this moment in time I can see the start of money and player heading to Spain, I mean more matches are being shown on TV over there and across the world, alot of big names player are starting to move over there, and more clubs are being bought and sold there aswell. I mean as things stand the EPL is going to fall onto it's ass in anyway, soon Sky etc will be throwing more money towards Spain and everything thats happen here will repeat it's self over there and the EPL will start to tourn into something like Italy or even worse Scotlnad with clubs starting to fail due to the lack of money and player moving to Spain instead. If we got in early and implimented this we could then set ourselves up for when things fail in Spain and clubs will be in better positions. The way the MLS works without relegation and promotion, add ontop of the the Francise stuff is a main reason why it's not working, the wage structure is great though.
  19. I have now came up with the conclusion that the Premier League, and hopefully the Football League should go the way that the MLS etc go. By this I mean that player are contracted to the Premier League/ Football League and are designated to each club, at the point of starting off all players would be given to their current clubs. This means that when one team wishes to buy another EPL playerthen they must contact the EPL who will contact the team who is with, they then can agree a settlement fee (because it will go through the EPL the fee's can have a maximum price) and the player is then designated to his new team. In the event of clubs being promted and relegated the contract will change from being with the EPL to the Football League and visa versa. For teams buying player abroad the team buying must give the EPL the money to buy him, he will then be contracted to the EPL but designated to his new team. This will allow wages to be controlled and transfer fees to be reasonable with the aim of making sure no clubs are in a position like Portsmouth etc are in. It will also mean that tapping up would be almost impossible. That way like in America/Canada teams can get on with playing the game and starting to make a profit, it would also put extra financial security on teams and allow things to in my eyes run alot smoother.
  20. This is Gotenburgs new home shirt, and shows a template we could of had if we had stayed with Adidas. http://www.ifkgoteborg.se/pls/portal/docs/1/4471808.JPG
  21. That bloke just comes along and goes thats how you fix it you ponces.
  22. Blackburn-Bolton was on ESPN at 12 so I guess Sky had to shift their games back a little. Good point, Wigan isn't too far away from Blackburn, or Bolton to be fair.
