Hard to say until we know the outcome of the appeal, and the new charge. If they don’t get any points taken off their deduction, and get another charge of say 5 points, then they are gone. Stay as it is, it will be close. Get a reduction or their points back, and they are safe as houses.

It was nervy towards the end, Burn isn’t a LB, and everyone praised him for his 1st half display, but every ball went to him and he got some lucky flick ins to take the ball away from their winger. As soon as they brought someone on who could run in behind him we had problems. Everyone can see it, he can’t play at LB. Play Livramento, play Hall, heck play Targett. We did have some strong spells though, the best team for the first 30-40 minutes, and we came out early in the 2nd half which finished the game for us. We need to learn how to keep possession and keep it simple though. We are either defending, or trying a quick breakaway, no in between.

We need to take a little bit more control, a couple of spells they have been able to create chances and get in behind us. We have done well otherwise though, we just can’t be complacent, and our 2nd half performances recently have been exactly that.

We also have the trouble of a GE coming up which is going to slow everything down, if not just stop everything. On top of this, we have seen in recent years how regulators such as OFGEN are very happy to follow the money and do the exact opposite of what they are supposed to do.

I’m not saying it won’t, but it will start to be the narrative clubs use to push for the Super League. I honestly think we’ll get a closed Premier League, reduced to 18 teams, kicking out the shit like Palace and such.
