If these sneak up via the play offs then they will be in trouble. It’s one thing trying your best to compete in a cup game against your derby rivals, it’s another playing higher tier opposition game in game out. They were nowhere near good enough, our first goal was always likely to come and they offered fuck all in attack and we’re just happy to fill the field with players. We were nowhere near our best today and won what in hindsight was a comfortable game, others will fucking demolish them when they aren’t playing it up for the derby.

Yeah, for what it’s worth though, I actually think it’s brilliant defending once Isak has decided not to shoot or bring it to his left foot. The shirt grab isn’t as bad as people on here are making out and it’s fairly close to the line, but not quite there. If that went against us, we would all be raging.

If a foul continues into the box then it’s a penalty.

In all fairness, Isak should have at least pulled the ball over to his left foot away from the defender. At that point he’s either shielding the defender off, or being taken out from behind.

On a yellow card as well, so he can’t get too close to him.

Aye we need to be more patient. They are flooding everywhere with bodies and not giving us space, doing those sideways long balls we did so well last season would go some way to help us open them up more.
