When I was at uni one of our lecturers was Russian and I think it was Zenit St Petersburg that he supported. They were quite far into the Europa League and had an early kick off, so he cancelled the lecture a week in advance. Everyone aside from me and my mate were baffled as to why he cancelled the lecture, we knew why.

Go home now, say you’re not feeling well.

Not a bad shout really. Both Dortmund and AC Milan have lost their best players in the summer, both of them midfielders, for us we actually bought AC Milan’s best player. PSG have lost many of their best players and are getting laughed at in Ligue 1.

Anyone else watching on an app and got an annoying white square on the upper right hand corner?
-
That’s a UEFA rule though.

You need the highest tier of it to get the TNT sports.

From my experience, London is mostly shit with a few nice bits.
-
If they go down then, they are absolutely fucked.

People would have used it already, either ahead of the cup final, during some fixtures towards the end of last season, most certainly the 2nd half of Brighton.

Looks more like they have sold the land that Goodison sits on, rather than it being a loan.

No, they scrapped that ages ago, probably that year may have been the last.

I’m going to guess we’ll be playing in the Saudi strip for this? Can’t play in black & white because of Milan’s black stripes, and I’m going to guess the blue away strip will be too dark/similar to Milan’s home shirt?

Sorry to say, but how is Gordon the only one angling to get contact and the keeper isn’t? You can say Gordon wasn’t getting to the ball, but neither was the keeper and if the keeper had just left it alone, the ball would have went out of play. In addition, surely the fact that neither player was getting to the ball and contact was made make it more of a foul than anything?

They are obsessed with it because the likes of Klopp, Ten Haag, and Arteta are using it as an excuse for why their teams are failing when they have poor games, and deflecting blame. Klopp started saying there was not enough stoppage time as soon as his team got a get out of jail free card with stoppage time above what should have been added, and only a month into a new season which saw the introduction of 5 substitutes because he spent the last 2 seasons complaining that players were playing too much.

Brentford are one of those teams where they are going to be behind the European teams, but a difficult side. Good teams in Europe will probably beat them, but you’re probably not going to demolish them. I’d a fixture you’ll snap your hand off for a well fought 1-0 win. We got that, and hopefully now we can head into some games where we should start beating teams with a bit more ease.

What the fuck is the absolute point in VAR?
-
Aye, our wingers are good at running, not so much at crossing, especially when you have no one to cross too, no one on the overlap, and their defence is sat back. It’s very much like the Leicester game at the end of last season.
-
We would almost certainly have beaten them if it was 11v9 as it should have been.
-
Not really. Hit the fucking jackpot against us, Wolves should have had this game wrapped up. Better teams will put this Liverpool team to bed before they have woke up.
-
Don’t you swear at me.
-
I’m starting to get more faith that Wolves may not be an actual shitfest this season and might just push Everton to relegation.
-
Subject to Premier League approval. Oh Everton, lads, you’ll see it in 2025.

I doubt it. Adidas has a Newcastle store recently, and closed it after only a couple of years. People over estimate how much our fans will buy stuff. They will easily be able to get the stuff from either SJP, hopefully a Metrocentre club shop, and online (including direct via Adidas). You also have the section of our fans who are quite happy to nip into Sports Direct. I also think someone is close to or has agreed a deal for that unit, regardless I can’t see Adidas moving back into Newcastle anytime soon.
