It was always going to happen, the PGA just thought that they could claim ownership of Golf and keep them at bay.

Aye, fucking shame UEFA are sticking that UEFA Foundation thing on.

Isn’t a private box about £10k?

Your daughter Daisy Burt? My sister is a friend of a family members of yours.

In all fairness to Castore, their shirts seem to be much better quality than Puma’s. A softer feel. The same can be said when you are in store, it all feels softer to the touch.

2 of them play in Riyadh, and the other 2 play in Jeddah. I wonder if they will merge the two clubs from the same cities and create a ‘United’ team in each city?

Gateshead will forever struggle to compete against Newcastle, especially now since the takeover. It doesn’t help that they have Hebburn around the corner from them who have a much better stadium for football. South Shields are starting to get fans in as well since their takeover. You then have to factor in that there is 20k empty seats at a Stadium just along Felling bypass, who are continuously giving tickets away, and I’m not on about the Greyhound track either.

Did Sunak really use Ashley’s helicopter?

I actually saw someone wearing one last week. Not that one but a shit mock up one that was done not long ago. Anyway I remember going to Rafa’s last game at Fulham and someone had DHGate version of the new shirt, except it was from when everyone believed there would be a massive black panel on the back, and that never happened.

Both of them were already reported.

Everton were waiting for the season to end in Serie A to bid for him as well.

My point is though, if you wanted to create a team in the MLS, it’s going to cost you about twice as much as it was to buy us, just to get your foot in the door. You have to remember that the MLS now want teams to play in stadiums that are preferably football/soccer specific, and only allow you to share a multi sports stadium if it’s of high quality. San Diego are ok because they can share a Collage stadium. Anyone else is possibly looking at another few hundred million to $1bn for a new stadium on top. I know NYCFC play in a baseball stadium, but the MLS have apparently been pissed off with that, and are now clamping down on new teams not having stadiums lined up. To put it into perspective, Man City created NYCFC so they could have a feeder club. If our owners wanted to do that for us now, then they would be paying the same as they did for us, plus Southampton on top. They would then need to buy a stadium, players, and a coaching team on top of that. Inflated fees or not, the prices are insane for an MLS team now, in 2007 MLSE paid less than $10m in expansion fee’s for Toronto FC.

Imagine how much damage he could do when he wants too, rather than just being disinterested and shit as an owner. They’ll be playing North Shields by the end of the decade.

Wigan have said that they have agreed to sell the club to a new owner that has not been named, subject to EFL approval. Some Wigan fans think it is Ashley.

Guy on my feed has said that Getafe would be.
-
They have just announced a new MLS team for San Diego, the franchise fee alone to the MLS is almost double what PIF bought us for.
-
Would that not mean Getafe go down on head to head?

Valencia have equalised but it looks like it will be ruled out for offside.

Perez scored.

We won’t get all 3 of opening day, Boxing Day, and last day at home. Are we not possibly due an away start? I can see us getting a difficult game to start off with, you would hope for a nothing club at home though. Boxing day is usually fucking shit for us, even if we are at home it’s often against a bigger side, probably get one of Liverpool, Man City, or Man Utd then. Random but I’d like to play Everton away during an actual fucking weekend, and generally avoid them later on in the season so we are not dragged into their antics when they are trying to stay up. I’d quite like them to be one of those early turnaround fixtures where you have played them twice before January/February is out.

It will be interesting to see if we find out more during the Amazon documentary.

I’m on about massively wealthy people. Of course there are loads of hard working people who have made successfully businesses, I’m not saying there isn’t. However there is a vast difference between a successful business people employing over 100 people, and multibillionaires.
