  1. Possibly suspect insider trading?
  2. Everton will do it, very rarely is there actually a change in position on the final day.
  3. They would as soon as they got rich owners. If Man Utd get bought by that guy who is acting as a front for Qatar, then you’ll probably see them start to advocate for unlimited spending, indeed the ESL was effectively a move towards it. ‘Let us spend what we want, but lock the others out so they will never be a threat if they win the lottery’.
  4. I was just going by reports to be honest, it even says it on the Champions League wiki page.

  6. I’m sure it says it goes on the previous years results.

  8. This really. I don’t think we’ll sell and I actually think the likes of Barca and Real Madrid if they are interested, will be waiting to see how he stacks up in the Champions League. Neither club can afford to make such a costly mistake.
  9. It’s not confirmed. It goes on how our teams do in Europe next season. Ideally we want West Ham to win their final and to get out of the group stages.
  10. When West Ham are selling their best player for £100m-£120m, we shouldn’t be selling below that line for one of ours.
  11. Winning and possibly getting 3rd would be the icing on the succulent soft cake this season has been. We should be aiming to win it, especially when it would be at a ground where we typically don’t win at very often.
  12. The problem with this is that our FA and other football authorities do not give a single fuck. My local non-league side got relegated this season, despite finishing just outside the play offs. The reason being is that their ground wasn’t up to standard but they gained the funding to do the work this summer. The work would have been done in time for the new season and it made no difference at all, but still they went ahead with it, even on appeal. You have the case of where clubs have been in financial trouble so the EFL stopped them playing games, which would have brought in revenue. At the time the actively helped negotiations between Bolton and new owners, but told Bury they had no time which made them go bust. They allowed Wigan to be taken over by an owner they had reason to suspect was going to immediately put them in administration so they would be relegated and win a bet. They they have the points deduction, and Wigan were relegated. The EFL’s own chairman tried to sell out all of his clubs so the top 6 clubs could have greater control and more finances of the game, just before the ESL super league plans came to light. The FA allowed Wimbledon to move to Milton Keynes, and only changed the rules preventing it from happening again after fans across the country kicked up a fuss. Ironically it was almost Luton themselves who got picked up and moved there.
  13. That’s ok, it means they will be more affordable for his mate Ashley to buy them.
  14. It would be too cruel for you to go round and shout that they won in stoppage time.
  15. They finished 3rd, so I imagine they won quite a few.
