It is genuinely the 1st time that I have seen it full and also the only time it has ever had an atmosphere that wasn’t forced with that ‘Dur dur dur, Dur Dur durr’ song.

The referee looks like a middle aged divorcee who went to Benidorm on a ‘lads’ holiday to cheer himself up and stayed to run a bar which he also DJ’s in.

I have been saying this for years.

Aye, do we now get given the 1-0 win? Do we get given the goal and replay from them on? It means fuck all because they will do it again and keep doing it and keep making meaningless apologies. They are only making this apology because they have been caught out too deep for even them to ignore.

It’s not VAR that’s the fault, it’s the referee’s.

Giving them a mic won’t do anything though. It’s not like he can talk us through the decision yesterday. All they will do is just use the 1 angle that backs them up, or them saying they infer things differently. All of a sudden everyone is pissed off because they have got the decision wrong and doubled down on it. It would be like watching the ex referee on Sky and BT Sports back up his mates, but in real time.

I remember for years watching Mason, the little fat piggy. He was not able to keep up to play, and just stood largely around the centre circle. He is the one who I referred too earlier about having step 1 of Bruce gut. Having someone like him on the same pitch as some of the worlds best and highly paid athletes is a disgrace, never mind being in charge of them.

I don’t even understand why people think he needed to be shown the reverse angle which shows the push. Lets say he only got the angle he got, let’s say it never showed the push. What does it show? Willock throwing himself at a loose ball and their keeper trying to get to it. So both players are going for a 50/50 ball, neither get to it but there is a clash, a clash that happens after the goal is scored. Where the fuck is the foul?

They aren’t. They are in the sense that they get paid, but it isn’t classed as a job and most of them have full time jobs throughout the week. They receive little to no training. They meet up once a month or so, and even then it is mostly classroom based things. So basically sitting dunking digestives into their coffee cups.

None of them are fit to do anything. I don’t just mean the referee’s. I mean the people in the VAR room, the referee’s governing body, and even the ex referee’s they wheel out on TV and the radio to back up the wrong decisions. None of them are fit for purpose. The referee’s governing body literally does fuck all. It doesn’t provide training for new referee’s. It doesn’t tell the referee’s that they should be focussed on the game and not treat it as a side activity. Nothing. With the money in our game, we should have referee’s who’s only job is to be a referee. They should be required to keep a good record of fitness. Seen loads of them who can’t run, and have a belly that’s got to be jotted down as step 1 towards the Bruce gut. None of them have sports psychologist telling them how to deal with pressures and how to block things out and focus on the game. None of them have the ability to control players and discipline them to prevent reckless challenges, diving, and crowding them. I know the problem doesn’t just exist in the Premier League, but all the way down the football pyramid. However in the Premier League’s case we have a sporting competition that has a global audience which aside from a few dozen boxing matches, the Super Bowl, World Cup, and Olympics, is unmatched in viewership. We are then left with what we see on show as a refereeing performance week in week out. The Premier League are wanting to grow the international viewership as well as the female viewership. How can they sustain it when that is on show? Real football fans will stick with their club, but keep going on like this where newcomers to the game are baffled as to what is and isn’t a foul are just going to be put off. It’s fucking disgusting, I remember when I was 1st introduced into football properly, there was clearly big team bias and a few dodgy referee’s. This, what we see now though has got out of hand. It’s not just the big decision like we have seen today, but the little ones. The fouls given in the middle of the field that aren’t a foul. One team getting the decisions and the other not. Some players getting a yellow whilst another player who does the same foul doesn’t. The total disregard and non-enforcement for rules such as the back pass, keeper holding the ball for too long, foul throws, delayed throws. Throw-in’s taken 15 yards away from where the ball went out of play, etc. It is just total and utter ineptitude from everyone involved.

Saying without VAR it’s still not a goal when VAR was supposed to be introduced because without VAR it wasn’t a goal and it should have been isn’t the right argument in my opinion.

Do you honestly think they want to do it for the best interests of the game. All the major footballing authorities have proven themselves to be corrupt. FIFA with World Cup bids. UEFA with changing the rules to allow PSG to spend as much as they want but not to allow for newcomers to do so. Not to mention trying their best to give the top clubs every possibly way of qualifying for the Champions League. In our domestic game it’s clear that every authority is working for the top 6 and have been for decades. Let’s not also forget that they even tried to sell Wembley so in their own words, could pay the grassroots football the money they were due too in anyway. These guys want money, and they want it on behalf of the top clubs and themselves. They want to have a stop clock so a game lasts 3 hours. So you can have water break that are filled with adverts. So the clubs can sell the attending fans more pie and drink £10 combo meals whilst they are inside the stadium. The clock as it is has never been a problem until these corrupt cunts came along and used it to their own advantage.

Nah. They only want to have a timer so they can do adverts like they do in American Sports. There has been enough incidents in the US where there has incidents happen after the clock, and in NFL you regularly see both sides stroll off before the clock has finished. There is no doubt in my mind that we will just start having incidents where the officials say the clock we are all watching is out to theirs whenever they need too.

I said before VAR came in, it won’t sort out the problems we have with referee’s, it just allows them to go back and find an excuse. It’s easy for them to stick with the on field decision when they want too, or change it when they need too. It allows them to go to a foul way back in the build up if they need it, picking frames when the ball was ‘played’ for if they need a goal to be onside or offside. The same guys who we have called incompetent at best and corrupt at worst are still the guys in the VAR room, still the guys training the referee’s and setting the agenda.

Likely taken a frame or so after the ball was played, see it all the time. Everyone is focussing on the line, whilst they are fucking away with something else.

Something needs to be fucking done now like. It’s beyond just taking the referee’s out and replacing them. Each football organisation has an agenda to have referee’s who give things in favour of certain teams and in certain situations. They want the entertainment, not fairness. Beyond a fucking joke.
