  1. 7, best goal of the lot, lovely long range finish.
  2. 4-0, deserved goal for Barker. Honestly 4 flatters Huddersfield.
  3. The one thing that's disappointed me and I know it's a bit unfair to be critical of what is a fan run website, is the lack of any coverage of the women's team by the people at NUFC.com. They cover the academy matches, so it's a real shame that there isn't even a mention on their sight that the lasses could (and should) win the league today. Same with the cup final, absolute no mention before or after about it.
  4. Thought Anderson was brilliant. Not as good or as influencial as Shar, Isak or Gordon but given the strange role he was asked to play today, he was magnificent.
  5. Been to watch Gateshead play a few times and every single time, without fail, no matter what the weather is like outside, it has been ridiculously windy inside.
  6. They actually only played 9 players from the start too. It was being held somewhere effected by the earthquakes to raise money for the victims which just makes there timing of the protest seem really insensitive. Looks like Gala had a kick about against their own reserves for the fans who were there, which is a nice touch I suppose.
  7. First clean sheet away since Sheffield (in the league)? Exactly what we haven't seen enough of this season, grinding out the points.
  8. 0-1 down 99th minute, tries a rabona, gives away a foul... he could play for Newcastle with that mindset
  9. Elliot Anderson's defensive positioning isn't exactly his strong point. Leaving a few big spaces.
  10. Can't help but laugh, bring on the old bloke because he's seen it/done it all before so surely he'll see it out right? Nope, he just goes and absolutely throws away two points. Wasn't that long ago he didn't look out of place in our back four .
  11. He might have been playing him onside there, but Dan Burn has been great today.
  12. I mean I think its fair to say that given our defensive record, if Everton can't score past a back 4 of Krafu, Schar, Burn & Hall, they deserve to go down
  13. Ref should have clearly stopped play for their second, a player is clutching his head, the ref should be putting potential head injuries above all. Made more annoying by the fact that goal comes from West Ham exploiting the space left by Schar. Both our pens were pens, however I'm not sure the second one comes under 'clear and obvious error' to be overturning the ref's original decision. Although the FAs concept of 'clear and obvious' is very different to mine, given how much VAR has constantly spent ages analysing potential penalties all season in slow-mo. Gordon's red was a red, can't argue with that. I just wish referees would enforce that consistently, looked like the ref only gave it because he forgot Gordon was on a yellow.
