  1. Has our address as Sports Direct Arena, Strawberry place. Twats.
  2. love watching what moronic things are texted into the BBC. James in South Wales, via text: "An unhappy Arsenal fan here, we need Hummels, Baines, Fellaini and Villa at the very least. Anyone believe in miracles?"
  3. Tom in Croydon, via text: "Hearing reports of an agreed fee between Liverpool and Arsenal for Reina? Surely not?!" on the BBC now too
  4. Seriously Stoke, get some sort of entertainment, so these plebs can all go there instead of stand behind a Journalist
  5. "Try not to laugh. "Sky Italia are now reporting that Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg has in fact boarded a flight to London thinking that he's on his way for talks with Fulham. He's apparently expected to land at London Heathrow at 1910. Unbeknownst to Stekelenburg, 35,000ft below, Roma have stopped the deal. Pity the man who has to break it to him at arrivals."
  6. wow, he's always seemed like a great guy, but thats an amazing gesture.

  9. so Abeid and Dummet out on loan, this has to be our least interesting transfer deadline day ever
  10. Erm, transfer negotiations don't quite work like that Neil.. Tell that to San Lorenzo
  11. interesting pronunciation of Jenas.
  12. imagine that + signing fee + the agent fee QPR would have paid + £12.5 million to sign him.
  13. quarter past 9 and he's already done his first car window interview
  14. they've got ones on what his first cliche will be and what colour tie he'll be wearing
  15. good move for both sides imo. they desperatly needed a quality CB.
  16. Thing is though they have 16 points and realistically need another 8 wins to get to 40 points with only 14 games left to play. Tonight has to be considered a bonus though. That's like when people kept asking us to draw positives from our bad results. I don't think draws do them any favours at this stage. Paying the price for such a bad start to the season. every point counts, an against man city it can only be seen as a point gained as opposed to a point dropped. and realistically they probably need about 36/7 points to stay up not 40.
  17. he just seems so bad at changing things, time and time again when he tries to change things (like yesterday in the second half, or any time we're behind) we just loose any sort of shape. really worrying.
  18. The best away support in the land bar none. Massive credit to every single one, and you could see it meant a lot to the players. Did they all come over to the fans at full time? Sure I saw Cisse gathering his teammates pointing them in the direction of the away end. yeah, everyone came over at the end, Pardew etc included.
  19. Is there an 'away fans pub' in Newcastle? I'm just wondering because there's not that many places that wouldn't welcome them in town in my experience, so do they generally all just hang around the bigg market/gate etc or a specific place?
  20. Anybody know any good away friendly pubs around the ground?
  21. the choice between him and Saylor isn't as worrying as the midfield/Shola choice pardew is going to make.
