No way in hell he would walk in to our team just now. Brown is also older and more injury prone. Another myth peddled by Newcastle fans. On the subject of injury prone players, Taylor has missed virtually the last 2 seasons because of injuries has he not? he's missed a lot, but because of injuries like a broken jaw and a dislocated shoulder, hardly anything to do with him really.

Bramble 'overall' had quite a few good seasons with us as well, his problem is the amount of costly mistakes he makes, great player, shit for brains. would prefer Taylor simply because he's more reliable.

i think the fact that the huge gaps are in the more expensive seats would suggest that maybe it is partially to do with the cash. but if you look, it was only when we were relegated that our crowds fell and have never recovered, i think a lot of fans gave up that year for footballing reasons, not to save the money.
