I thought the atmosphere was very good in the gallowgate first half and decent in the second and while yes people did leave before the lap of honour I reckon a good 80% stayed. What didn't help was that they took an absolute age to get it sorted while the gadgie slavered on the mic. I think a lot left because of that.

I left because I was gasping for a drink. Also I just don't feel the connection to the players that most seem to. I just want to see Newcastle United win, I don't really care who does it for us.

  2. Yeah, Isak wasn't one of our best performers for too long earlier in the season to win this. AG has been consistently impressive throughout, with only the odd poor game here and there. He's been very impressive this season and the league award nominees are an absolute joke, however there'll be supporters from loads of clubs looking at that list laughing their tits off at some of the omissions.

  3. Ramsdale is only 25, he'll be a much better keeper by the time he's Nick Pope's current age imo. I think he gets overly criticised on here for whatever reason. He's a solid keeper.

  4. I especially like the fact that the bad guys in this little fable are the plucky office workers earning peanuts and the billionaire brexit supporting liar is our hero.

Well if they don't like it they can always fuck off and find another job WFH. They won't by the way.

Apols @Dr.Spaceman not directed at your good self, more the bargain bin ex-Highbury hustlers trying to pawn us their defective wares in exchange for our jewel in the crown.

I'm with you, it's a terrible deal but it's apparently on the table. We'll knock it back and it'll be a complete non-starter. As others have said, far too many moving parts.

Hilarious watching sky sports and them talking about Man U being able to offload all the shite overpaid players they have, no one can afford them/and those who can won’t pay the wages.

This is it, nobody in their right mind is paying bucket loads for Anthony.

Man U and their wages will be the problem for the next few years.

Reckon we’re more likely to win the league than them over the next 10 years.

Nah, they'll still be able to spend way more than us. We lose one of Bruno & Isak and we're relying on an exceptional transfer window just to get back to where we were. They sort their wages out and they're able to bring in a lot. Plus they've got many friends in the media who will keep the Man Utd myth alive as long as possible.
