Hadn't thought of that. Either way, howay Southampton

Barnes v West Ham for me. His first touch to give him the space was really, really good. And then there's the strike.

We'd all trade places in a heartbeat, but Bruno's life:
Run more than anyone in the PL over a grueling 10 months > fly to Australia > fly back to England (presumably) > 10ish days off? > fly somewhere in the USA > play Mexico in f'ing Texas on June 8 (central time) > play the US in Orlando on June 12 (eastern time) > 10 days of training camp somewhere (California?) > three Copa America group stage games in LA, Vegas, and SF in a week > QF in Arizona > SF in Charlotte > final in Miami > 10 days off > join NUFC for Japan? > repeat long seasonMaybe he skips the Japan tour if Brazil go all the way to the final, but either way it's pretty relentless.
I'd trade jobs in a fucking heartbeat

If forcing some of our stars to play 45 mins in Aus means our transfer budget is a few mil better off, then so be it.

I guess they're two players we'd be happy not to be able to register if the right signings become available. Bit weird how they've been specifically called out though, although I assume a journo has gone fishing to create some sort of narrative.

Where are you going? To watch Bruno play CL football next season, where he belongs. He's too good for us and the Europa Conference. Really hope he stays but would be one of the first world class NUFC players I'd be okay seeing us lose. 100 million is a lot.

Seen Southampton get compared to Brighton a few times on here, but it was nowhere near the same level or calibre of operation.
Not sure anyone from the outside looking in can say how big each operation is tbh. Bet there's loads going on that even superfans of each club aren't privy to.

That’s lowkey a very good squad
How many times has that been said about the Dutch though? They've been the biggest underperformers for what seems like multiple generations now.

If Milan can afford Diogo Costa then surely we can - don't know much about him other than he's mint on FM
Same, love it when we sign FM "go to's"

Muric ended up their number one and he's cack.

The jealousy over klopp on here is just as vomit inducing
Get the fuck outta here man he's the ringmaster of the insufferable circus. Don't think anyone is really denying the fact that he's a good manager, but his antics are top tier cuntish.

We're not signing Ramsdale man

I'd hope Gary the twat at Wolves would refuse to use it.

Genuinely wouldn't put anything on Dubravka saving that.

I genuinely had no idea there was any sort of tribalism attached to area codes.

Really dont fancy this at all, it's going to be one of those games.
It's all about the "he says, she says" bullshit
Really looking forward to it myself, it'll feel like one of the longest 90 minutes of the season. Captain obvious here, but I really hope we grab an early goal to settle the nerves.

No chance more people play association football on an organised basis - again, the game being the only one played by both genders comes into it - but if you walk into a pub it’s Aussie rule or rugby league on every screen; most sports tops worn by the average punter relate to those sports; a conversation re sport with the average Australian will usually touch one of them. Football is in a healthy state in Australia, but it’s not close to being the national sport.
I can't believe more people aren't going for a drink in replica cricket whites.

Just me or does it feel like we do a lot of things at a snails pace?

He was a right winger until
wenger turned him into a striker. Wenger was a great manager when he first came in, the first thing he did was tell merson his Arsenal career was over. He made sure the team all had controlled diets and became more professional. Sounds weird now, but he was the first to do it.
Immediately put a stop to tomato sauce from the canteen and it riled several of the players. I guess he knew pretty quickly who was going to buy into him and his methods.

The amount of shots I took as a kid because I wanted to be Laurent Robert....
I'll never forget my grandads face when he and my dad got back after that Spurs game. Genuinely thought he'd just seen two of the best goals he'd ever seen at SJP.
