If they're still going after the likes of Dele Alli & Van De Beek I completely agree. They should target players who are greatful to play for them, instead they're hell-bent on keeping up appearances by signing the more reputable players who don't really give a shit about them.

I doubt we'd retain all 4 tbh, given that we only play with one. Unless Ekitike can play out wide as well, although I don't watch Ligue 1 so got no idea about him. Even then I think we'd struggle to keep Wilson, Wood and DCL happy in rotation.

Everton are a complete mess this season, to write any of their squad off after this year alone is mad. There's also something going on with DCL off the pitch as well, clearly had a falling out with someone.

I'm all for the DCL transfer, he's the exact type of player we should be looking at.
