Good job Iwobi is toss. -
It's a football forum on the internet, not some fucking MI6 nuclear level shit we're discussing.
-
I think the likes of Roy Keane don't help with their "This isn't Burnley, this is Man Utd you're playing for here" bollocks like the club has a divine right to be at the top end of the league.
-
Absolutely nobody on here is saying this FWIW.
-
You had me until Pardew
-
I really hope so, it should definitely be.
-
Doesn't that come hand-in-hand as a Premier League football manager though? We're entering a far more ruthless territory than what we've been used to over the last 20 years. Remember someone saying that we should expect an unpopular sale in the summer, I don't see why the unpopular (but somewhat understandable) decisions would be limited to our playing squad. Surely this level of ruthlessness starts at the very top? FWIW I really hope he doesn't leave us in the next 10 years. I love the bloke. He's a breath of fresh air after years of whinging arseholes making excuses left, right and centre. Plus you know, he's not Arteta, Klopp or Ten Hag - a grade A thundercunt.
-
I don't believe any fan wants him out, people are more concerned about the decision making of a bloke willing to splurge 500 trillion Saudicoins on a golfer.
-
Gutted, I want us to use this as motivation and get back there ASAP
-
Christ, we looked several levels removed in the first couple of games. Fair play for those last 3 games like.

HAWAAAAAAAY ME BONNYY LADS -
Surely if an English club wins the Europa League then finishes top 4 it's on?
-
If we could get a large fee for any of them I'd not be too disappointed who we moved on. As gutted as I'd initially be, £100m for Bruno would give us the wiggle room to do what Liverpool did with the Coutinho sale, for example. Personally I'd loan Miley and move on Willock, with the usual caveats applying. All depends who we bring in, obviously. I still doubt we're getting Phillips though, feels more of an Everton 2019 kind of transfer.
-
Absolutely. I just don't think they (and any other club in the league) want to give us a leg up in getting there, no matter how small.
-
It's one thing selling to a foreign club but they're not going to help a rival to strengthen (They clearly don't see mid-table Chelsea as a rival before anyone says anything about Sterling and/or flavour of the month Cole Palmer)
-
If they're just short FFP-wise and want to bring in a player of their own whilst having no suitors for other players. Otherwise I can't see it.
-
There's no easy solution that will suit everyone. If there was one it would likely already be in place.

Nah, we're not them. We'll collectively be able to see the bigger picture, which is you know, Eddie Howe getting us to the Champions League and all that. One potential loss against a side in the Championship play-offs will be painful but no way will it result in Howe getting the sack. I think you're fucking mental. -

Why? -
So he can shoot then
-
Not a chance. Given our situation we shouldn't be going full strength. They should have a new manager, so we won't know what to expect from them. It'll be a good game and should be taken in the same vein as any other loss, if that happens. It won't though.

It's almost like last season never happened.
-
Vicario's on the shit list
-
He's far from shite, but we need to upgrade before next season.
