Nailed it. I hope Man City take the PL to the cleaners.

Its almost like building a brand new stadium or redeveloping a massive headache of a stadium takes a fair but of planning and execution. Useless twats.
Depends on your definition of the word 'imminent' I suppose.

If he says "Roll our sleeves up....."

Rightly so, only team with a 100% record

it was a poor joke. Assuming you’re lost - posh people 30 odd year ago would say “Gordon Bennett” instead of for fucks sake.
I apologise profusely mate
Thanks but I was taking the piss

Decent test of where we're at this is. Three games and three good results so far, albeit some relatively unconvincing performances. A well rested side with Schar returning. Wolves havent started well and I think will struggle this season. A win would be big. Would take four points from this and away to Fulham with some tough fixtures coming up after that.
I'd completely forgot that we had a cup game counting towards his ban, happy days.
Got a feeling that we're going to see more of the same. Slightly disjointed with concerns in multiple areas but grinding out something, score draw or win by the odd goal. This is going to be a tough watch.

babayaro in every game he played
Sissoko 9 out of 10 games
Absolutely insane that he's mentioned at all in this thread.

Jesus, that's grim but entirely unsurprising. Levy seems like the coldest prick of them all.

Have I made up the fact that we also had a striker called Thompson or something similar around the same time?

30 odd thousand season ticket holders paying on average somewhere in the region of 500 quid each season will be a decent wedge PSR wise, surely?

Dalglish son wasn't a footballer, he definitely just wanted to get him on the payroll.
Not to go all Joe Rogan on you, but he was definitely a footballer, just not a top level PL footballer.

He's 33 now, maybe, just maybe he's finally grown up.

Anthony Taylor and friends taking 4 minutes with VAR to determine if it's a goal or not in the Denmark game. Can all UK refs please just fuck off for good? Abysmal.
We're so embarrassing, man. Four minutes, why, it's supposed to be CLEAR AND OBVIOUS

I'd like you to be right, but it's kind of the opposite way around. They tend to be more and more influential in how a club functions. They need more attention, scrutiny and accountability.
I agree with you, I just don't know why we go on and on about it. We've zero visibility of their day to day and their influence will take a long time to come to fruition. I still can't believe some people are complaining that Mitchell hasn't done a great deal in 2 months, man

Couldn't care less if he stays or goes, personally. As fans we put far too much thought into these DoF's, Sporting Directors etc

I’m not sure I can see that to be honest. Don’t Gateshead college use it for Athletics?
If Athletics can’t be used there anymore, then surely there is no point in keeping it, it might as well just be knocked down and either rebuilt as a football club, or we just realise that it’s going to become an industrial unit like everything else around it.
Yeah that's what I thought. I've not heard that it's becoming an industrial unit or anything like that.
I wonder how financially viable it is if Gateshead College continue to use it. Do they still do international athletics meets there?

EtH and Anthony have worked really well together before Man Utd.
They are both just not good enough for the this league.
It's all on ETH iyam. We've seen how easy it is to win the Eredivisie (hello Schteve McClaren) with an utterly shite manager, the PL needs more from a manager other than "Let's pley". Antony just needs an arm round the shoulder and some good tactical direction in an environment that's not one of the biggest pressure cookers in professional football.

The stadium issue is sorted apparently. I heard yesterday that potential new owners are looking to sack off the running track around the pitch, I'm not sure whether that means Withdean style temp stands closer to the pitch or they're wanting to rip up the track altogether.

Nah, I’m tired of us when we start getting good, ruining it by buying the top 6’s cast offs. We should be avoiding buying anyone from those clubs, unless they had actual potential.
You don't think a 24 year old Brazilian international playing at an absolute shit show of a club under that bald fraud has any potential? Howeh...
