Is the draw on the Tele at all? -
Anyone tell me how Enzo Fernandez is worth 120 million? He did nothing that I haven't seen Jack Colback or Sean Longstaff do tonight.

I just want to see us score a goal from open play. -
"Peak Barclays" was 01/02 - 02/03, then Abramovich ruined it all.
-
And when the directors are telling us we're going to win the league within 10 years it kind of throws that statement (that one small group of fans decided to make) right out the window as expectations hit a hard reset.

"Av dun the sayim thing fo' thorty yors, neeone is telling iz av got ti gan neewhere else"

Scouse. It's cool to hate England there.
-
Yep, which is why I think we'll lose one or two in the summer. One big sale can be massive for a couple of windows, we need to get our heads around this. No doubt the rules will be amended again before the summer window though.
-
Nowt we can do if can't sell the fringe players like Wilson though, Osula was probably one of the better options we had available to us (Delap would never have come here as 3rd choice)
-
Osula would have been great two seasons ago when we were smashing sides and had games won after 70 minutes. Bringing a young lad into this mess and expecting him to be the one to turn things around isn't going to happen. Another case of right player at the wrong time for me.
-
The only point in playing him is to ensure we're not solely relying on Jacob Murphy or playing someone else out of position. We've got very few options.
-
Yet we pine for a player who had little to no output in Elliot Anderson
-
Yeah, he suffers the same as others in the side with a lack of options when on the ball. He looks like he wants to be progressive more than he can be. He's not Jack Colback.
-
Difference this time is that it really does feel like we're biding our time, waiting for that sliding doors moment to present itself, whether that be in the form of a rule change or what, I don't know. But we're definitely not forcing it. I get where you're coming from but It's nowhere near Ashley levels, let's be honest.
-
I don't think the issue is the ability of our players at all. We've simply got nobody in the same postcode as Isak (like what Anderson did on Friday night). The frustration is how we also seemingly have a massive gap at the other end of the pitch too, leaving mavericks like Palmer to just wander around with nobody anywhere near him.
