Yep, which is why I think we'll lose one or two in the summer. One big sale can be massive for a couple of windows, we need to get our heads around this. No doubt the rules will be amended again before the summer window though.

Osula would have been great two seasons ago when we were smashing sides and had games won after 70 minutes. Bringing a young lad into this mess and expecting him to be the one to turn things around isn't going to happen. Another case of right player at the wrong time for me.

Why not, they literally sacked a manager mid season. They could easily sound out someone else for the job and do the same again if they wanted to. It's a good job there's no obvious candidate other than Rafa out of work at the moment, think he's the only other manager I'd be instantly okay with.

We'd be benching Alex Murphy, Travis Hernes and Trevan Sanusi every week if we didn't offer them new deals... This is partly on Eddie but he wasn't exactly backed in the summer, we had the worst transfer window in the league.

What do you want him to do, start pumping Miggy, Murphy, Burn and Longstaff with PED's

I think, given the shit storm with Staveley departing and Mitchell so far doing nothing, to get rid of Howe without another summer window would be unfair. One more window of unity across the club then we can judge imo.

The only point in playing him is to ensure we're not solely relying on Jacob Murphy or playing someone else out of position. We've got very few options.

Yeah, he suffers the same as others in the side with a lack of options when on the ball. He looks like he wants to be progressive more than he can be. He's not Jack Colback.

Difference this time is that it really does feel like we're biding our time, waiting for that sliding doors moment to present itself, whether that be in the form of a rule change or what, I don't know. But we're definitely not forcing it. I get where you're coming from but It's nowhere near Ashley levels, let's be honest.

I don't think the issue is the ability of our players at all. We've simply got nobody in the same postcode as Isak (like what Anderson did on Friday night). The frustration is how we also seemingly have a massive gap at the other end of the pitch too, leaving mavericks like Palmer to just wander around with nobody anywhere near him.

We used to try the odd "training ground move" yeah. Now we just appear to lump it to the back post every single time, ala Pardew and Mike Braziliamson.
