Wasn't there a quote from Charnley a while back where he said that all the work had been done so if it did wait until the summer it wouldn't be a long process? I guess that was before John managed a one game unbeaten run, but still...

Good job we're not off to Wembley anytime soon then.

Think it would be a joint bid with New Zealand if they did it. Aye, MCG Suncorp ANZ Allianz Adelaide Oval (?) Wellington basin Dunedin just off the top of my head.

Australia would host a fantastic WC i reckon. Kick off times would be naff though.

Wish they'd look into the fucking mess of 2014 as well. As soon as Brazilian police started investigating FIFA and arresting people during the World Cup, Brazil stopped getting help from the refs and lost to Germany 7-1. Totally connected, of course.

Tomorrows rags saying he'll be at the game and he's opening up SJP for a Sports Direct party in midweek.

There's hundreds of potential 'key moments', such as the last minute goals conceded vs sunderland, stoke, burnley, Man U and Palace at home, which cost us a mere 8 points.

Clear white back surely deliberate so they can add addition sponsors if we go down. Nice one, Mike.

You mean anyone on big wages.

From a logical point of view, assuming Sunderland are safe, 2 out of the 9 possible results combinations between our game and Hull's send us down, whereas 7 out of 9 keep us up. So we do actually have a good chance of staying up. Relegation-logic-o-meter is a 2/10. However, it seems like everything is pointing to us going down. Other teams picking up included, but our downfall is 100% down to poor ownership, poor management and poor players, none of whom give a shit about the club. I fancy Hull to beat Man United and can see a 1-1 draw vs West Ham, with us blowing the lead in the last 15 minutes. Pretty certain we're going down and deservedly so. 8/10.

7/1 on SkyBet. Having a few quid on that.

Genuinely staggered as how you could have missed the point of his post by so much tbh. -

Erm, are you getting mixed up? Don't see why he's aiming low. I'd need trains, beer, ticket and spendies paid before I even considered it. -

Wouldn't be fair to drop Raylor though because he was injured for so long and he's a nice guy. [/Carver] -

If there's a bigger bunch of cowards in the league than us, it's QPR. Put 11 men on marking Austin at set peices. -
Close, May 7th. Hamstring injury. Out of Saturday's game.

Newcastle West End ftw.

Wasn't it Shepherd who pulled the plug on that?

The Dallas Fort Worth area will be the destination for six soccer teams from around the world this July when they’ll play in an international soccer tournament. The clubs will include Newcastle United, Olympique Lyonnais, Pachuca, Swansea City, Malaga and Raja Casablanca between July 9-19. http://worldsoccertalk.com/2015/04/29/newcastle-lyon-pachuca-and-swansea-among-clubs-to-compete-in-texas-tournament-this-july/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+EPLTalk+%28World+Soccer+Talk%29 Nice way to kick off the promotion season.

If he says they're not ready then I fully expect they are not only ready, but already eyeing up their next move. Stuart Pearce is a managerial moron.
