Chelsea have been heavily linked with a swoop for Anzhi Makhachkala striker Samuel Eto’o, but the Cameroon international’s agent has been quoted as saying that there has been no contact over a possible swoop and his client will be remaining in Russia. Peppino Tirri is reported to have told vesti.ru: "I can assure all that Eto'o will definitely stay at Anzhi. It would be very difficult to arrange his transfer because Samuel is not willing to move to another club for less wages.” by Lewis Rutledge 9:01 AM

Welbeck is so overrated

You get to have a pint with Kinnear when you get to the boxes/function rooms. You get to have several pints with Kinnear when you get to the boxes/function rooms, Kinnear gets pissed and starts getting names mixed up telling people that a guy called Chris has rabies. Maybe I can get him to drink a pint of lard as a bet...

Match subs. If you're tall enough you might get a game, it's how Shola started. I only had my ACL repaired 4 months ago but I reckon I could still cover more ground than that knacker so I could be in with a shout!

It's a premium in case you (on the off-chance) see Cabaye in the changing rooms Sounds like a match programme Cheers, if that is the case I better remember not to buy one outside first

Finally going for a stadium tour before the West Ham game at the end of the month; I noticed on the website that it's £3 extra on a match day, does anyone know if you get anything extra for this or is it just purely more because it's on a match day?

Wonder where Schürrle will fit in as well

Have we signed Gomis and put him in an Ameobi shirt? -
Gary Hooper signs for Norwich http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11709/8841800/gary-hooper-completes-switch-to-norwich-from-celtic-on-four-year-deal I work about 5 minutes from Carrow Road and all the season ticket holders in our office are going mad, first time I've ever been jealous of Norwich in a transfer window

Genuinely thought he was older than 31; christ knows how bloody immobile he'll be in the next few years given what he's like now!
-
Loving the fact that the article is calling him "Bafitmibi Gomis" throughout; amazing journalism once again!

According to Sky Sports: This is the article in question (as far as I can tell) - http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/B-gomis-plait-a-l-om/386576 - literally fuck all in it.

Dortmund shirts look so much fucking better than ours -
He should be immortalised outside the ground with a statue like this: http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Football/Pix/pictures/2008/10/25/stuforsterG460.jpg Incidentally I usually have the same pose while watching him...

I hope we have other options and all this is just a smokescreen...

You think the manager should resign over James Perch's contract? Perhaps my point wasn't clear. What I meant was that if he doesn't actually have the final say on who stays and goes from his team, surely it undermines his position and gives him no control? Most managers wouldn't stand for that. As if I would be making the point purely based on Perch though . For what it's worth, I'm indifferent on him leaving; he started off poorly but cemented himself as a decent backup player over time.
-
If Pardew had any ounce of dignity he wouldn't stand for that, but lets face it, if he has a big payout coming his way in the event of a sacking, he's not going to walk away is he.

"The Daily Mirror, meanwhile, writes that Lee Cattermole will become the biggest casualty in a clear-out at the Stadium of Light." Not Catts for him like
