If we sell Taylor (and Colo + Carroll as reported in today's papers) as well as all the other transfers, I honestly don't know how Ashley can be holding out for £100 million for the club. I think if Shearer comes in soon he will probably make Taylor captain, maybe that would convince him to stay? I find it hard to believe he's leaving given how much he's committed himself to us in interviews and such like since we were relegated. dont think it us playing well , more of Reading being completely shite, we bullied them with our thugs in barton nolan and smith. they are scared. Come on mate, it's a massive improvement to last week, we've passed the ball A LOT better and the movement has been better, although should be focused more down the wings I say! Admittedly we have bullied Reading, but that's our style now, we have a midfield of cut-throats and that's what we need to progress in this league.

Played well so far, but some changes need to happen soon if we don't see improvements. Barton has been poor I thought, no presense on the right of midfield, Ameobi awful as always but nicely "fluked" goal, Coloccini and Raylor looking shakey as ever. Lualua on for Barton and Ranger for Ameobi with about 25-30 left I reckon.

Nolan is a decent Goal threat tbh, our best from Midfield. He hasn't scored for 16 months. He scored against Huddersfield in pre-season didn't he?
