If we sell Taylor (and Colo + Carroll as reported in today's papers) as well as all the other transfers, I honestly don't know how Ashley can be holding out for £100 million for the club. He will have sold basically ALL our sellable assets and yet still wanting his ridiculous fee. I hope to god that we get taken over before he destroys our fucking club any more than he already has, it's looking fucking scary now.

I think if Shearer comes in soon he will probably make Taylor captain, maybe that would convince him to stay? I find it hard to believe he's leaving given how much he's committed himself to us in interviews and such like since we were relegated. Players like Bassong made it quite obvious they were going to leave and Taylor has never stated such a wish, here's to hoping he stays, we fucking need him!

dont think it us playing well , more of Reading being completely shite, we bullied them with our thugs in barton nolan and smith. they are scared. Come on mate, it's a massive improvement to last week, we've passed the ball A LOT better and the movement has been better, although should be focused more down the wings I say! Admittedly we have bullied Reading, but that's our style now, we have a midfield of cut-throats and that's what we need to progress in this league.

Played well so far, but some changes need to happen soon if we don't see improvements. Barton has been poor I thought, no presense on the right of midfield, Ameobi awful as always but nicely "fluked" goal, Coloccini and Raylor looking shakey as ever. Lualua on for Barton and Ranger for Ameobi with about 25-30 left I reckon.

Nolan is a decent Goal threat tbh, our best from Midfield. He hasn't scored for 16 months. He scored against Huddersfield in pre-season didn't he?

Livermore only signed for a month didn't he? It could still be possible for us to sign him after his Derby loan expires as the loan window is a month longer isn't it? Not 100% on that, but i'm sure the loan and permanent transfers are different time scales.

Fuck Nugent, i'm not a massive fan of Beckford but i'd rather have a permanent signing for some stability than a loan player that could possibly be recalled!

Lets face facts, for every player we get in, we're likely to lose a player in that same position bar strikers. I think Campbell and Lovenkrands on frees and Beckford would be good signings, Tommy Smith even sounds solid if the price is right. Besides that we really have missed a trick with players like Matthew Mills and others who have already moved clubs.
