Very impressive again in the pre-match interview on the club website. Strikes the right tone as usual, and at a difficult time. He represents the club really well, and with each new interview I'm chuffed he's our manager and spokesman.

Only just heard this very sad news. One of our best ever professionals and a really wonderful servant. Whenever you heard him talk about our club it always came through how much love he had for it. I remember him saying not so long ago how he thought he had his best times here. Will always have the greatest respect for what he gave to the club.

Been consistently brilliant this season. Really starting to fulfill his potential as a top quality centreback.
