Watching the Wigan highlights again last night, some of the interplay between Ben Arfa and Cabaye, and Marveaux when he came on, it's just so exciting to think how our play may develop as the season goes on. It almost feels as though our season is just starting, in terms of potential on the pitch. There's such a great platform to build on now, I reckon we're going to become a really exciting team to watch.

Good reaction with his subs again today. And pretty much always agree with his summing up after the game, which is reassuring and gives great confidence.

Apart from his quality on the ball, his workrate looks very decent in what we've seen of him. Can only see him being a plus for the team.

Been really heart warming to see our application in every game. A lot of hard work has gone into getting us into this position, whatever the "experts" say. And if we could get through the next three unbeaten as well, it would be fantastic; we'd be absolutely flying and have nothing to fear going into the big three. Whatever happens, if key players stay fit I just can't see this team getting a hiding anywhere at the moment, which is really reassuring. They're doing us proud.

He's doing such an excellent job, it's going to be really interesting to see how he blends in the technical players now and changes the way we play. We've built such a great platform and Ben Arfa, Santon and Marveaux can take us to another level. The kind of football we could be playing in a week or two is just mouthwatering! Pardew himself must be very excited by the prospect. He sounded like it today when he talked about Ben Arfa "threatening to burst into the team". Really liked that!
