  1. No way we'll be gone today mathematically maybe but if results go against us we may as well be because there is no way Allardyce is going to turn down the chance to relegate us and gloat like a madman I keep hearing this nonsense about Allardyce. West Ham players havnt looked arsed for months, I just don't get that the West Ham players are all suddenly Gonna be switched on and up for it coz They are playing Allardyce ex club maybe but hippo head is at least a competent premier league level manager while we have carver and a "team" that have shown a hell of a lot less motivation than west hams team despite the fact we do have something to play for.
  2. could have sworn last time we played them was bosingwa bailing us out of any possible relegation trouble never mind brain fart somehow wiped the first half of the season from my mind

  4. very unlikely that many results go against them and they don't pick up some kind of result vs burnley
  5. great motivation for Spurs to lose and avoid the europa..........
  6. more than deserved by Boro, feel a bit sorry for Warburton but he won't be out of work for long I'd suspect
  7. Southampton 1-2 Aston Villa Burnley 2-1 Stoke QPR 1-0 Newcastle Spurs 2-1 Hull Sunderland 1-2 Leicester West Ham 1-1 Everton Liverpool 2-0 Crystal Palace Swansea 1-2 Man City Man Utd 1-2 Arsenal West Brom 0-2 Chelsea Arsenal 2-1 Sunderland
  8. delighted to see Juve get through, hope they win it.
  9. are QPR still in the shit with the football league over FFP?
  10. current scenario, we win our two games we're safe regardless or hull don't win any games. But if hull wins a game and we only draw one game or lose both we go down.
  11. problem is he wouldn't be hurt all that much by it not in the context of just how much money he has and as for the advertising-we were on tv more last time we were in the championship than we were in the prem and the championship highlights going to a prime time tv slot means in the domestic market it won't be that big a loss in terms of eyes on SD shite. The ones really hurt by it will be all the guys who will lose their jobs in cost cuts.
  12. the fact it seems down to us sunderland and hull again with us vs a team in claret and blue and hull at home to man utd on the last day is enough to keep me worried.
  13. Former Bayern players working at the club like to mouth off iirc, could be that is really annoying him. That and the several truck loads of money City would offer.
  14. With Spurs doing everything in their power to try and avoid the europa league and man utd probably with nowt to play for on the last day its far from impossible for hull to pick up results vs either or both of them.
  15. we got in Simpson on loan iirc in the summer and Lovenkrands came back but that barely counts.
  16. Bad enough West Ham are getting tax payer funded riches, now they could be in Europe too. At least the first game will be in about 3 weeks time First game will be 2nd July, that's just over a month turn around for whoever gets the spot. how many games is it from there to the final? Also if West Ham are indeed going to replace hippo head doesn't exactly give them much time to do it in
  17. Everton 1-1 Sunderland Aston Villa 2-1 West Ham Hull 1-0 Burnley Leicester 2-1 Southampton Newcastle 0-2 West Brom Stoke 1-1 Spurs Crystal Palace 1-1 Man Utd Man City 3-0 QPR Chelsea 2-0 Liverpool Arsenal 2-0 Swansea

    John Carver

he's either doing everything in his power to get himself sacked for the payoff or just gone mad, maybe both
  19. oh I do agree on the whole and the ability of premier league clubs over the last 5 years or so to not only be getting and spending much more money than ever and somehow seem to get worse every season is remarkable. Theres also the trend for the stockpiling of talented players at these top teams, chelsea have what 24 players out on loan? how the fuck is that even allowed? So its no surprise general quality is going down since any player who shows even the remotest bit of talent and ability the media are selling to liverpool man utd etc. The more I think about it the more I almost welcome relegation just on the basis of fuck the premier league for a while

    Steve McClaren

what I'd worry about is if they decided fuck it lets see if he can pull a hughton if we go down
  21. been thinking this a lot myself in recent seasons, in theory the quality of the football is higher but there's next to no competitiveness same teams fighting for the prizes season after season while 14 teams may as well not exist because none of them even bother trying to compete just exist to survive and keep the cash flowing to pay it to agents and average players in increasing amounts.
  22. on the fence too despite what the media at large say it is not the end of the world and the club hierarchy, "coaching" staff and players more than deserve it but ultimately they won't be the ones harmed by this, not really anyway. At worst (for them) the coaching staff will be sacked and get payoffs, ashley might take somewhat of a hit but compared to the scale of his own personal fortune its not exactly a hammer blow is it and given last time we were in the championship we were on tv almost every other week it won't hurt exposure for sports direct in the domestic market. While the players will either still be here on existing contracts or off somewhere else probably getting paid more so doesn't hurt them beyond professional pride which all evidence presented thus far they don't have any to begin with. No the ones hurt by this are the ones employed on minimum wage many of whom could (probably would) lose their jobs in cost cutting exercises.
