well it can't hurt to actually have someone designated to be in charge of the running of the club.
  2. honestly wonder if Wenger will be at Arsenal next season, could easily see him walking away if they fail to get into CL
  3. Hope they don't cash in on them any time soon. Same with Southampton. I'd be shocked if Shaw was still at Southampton next season personally.
  4. Far more interesting to listen to than the usual wankers though. hardly difficult or any basis to judge his football knowledge on, knowing more than mark lawerenson should be a fucking given for any football fan after all
  5. "your arms have to go somewhere" er Pearce no they don't have to go straining after the ball and into the back of the goalkeepers fucking head.
  6. how the hell did this start? Look nice guy did well to revive us in a bad situation and did well under difficult circumstances at birmingham but at Norwich he really hasn't done well, probably will mean he'll have to go to a championship club and we'll see how he will do then.
  7. stuck in a legal dispute over compensation with Tan I believe so no chance he'll take a job until thats sorted Wasn't aware of that. recall hearing something about it months ago, not heard much since mind.

  9. Doubt he'd go back to coaching now though. He'll get another job no problem, next big Championship club needing a gaffer would be mad not to get him in. Wonder who Norwich will get in? Basically looking for the one game Fulham bounce to ensure safety. Leeds United could be a possibility. doubt it, recall something about the guy taking over having some italian coach ready to replace McDermott
  10. apparently its the u18's coach in charge, not sure if thats til the end of the season though or until they find someone
  11. 6 points clear but with realistically only one winnable game left. Lose at Fulham Norwich go down imo
  12. having said that, whats the point? Look at the remaining fixtures they're the stuff of nightmares for any club down there its not likely to make a difference now sacking him.
  13. the only surprise is how long it took
  14. is that on tonight? 2am simulcast with the us for the season opener or tomorrow normal time.
  15. it is ridiculous how he keeps getting away with it, it happens in every match he plays. And then is laughed off as "good old Skrtel being robust." some even interpret it as good defending when its the exact opposite its really fucking bad defending. Ugh can't stand him.

  17. which won't change any time soon, players aren't sold on the club because of promises of trying to improve the club steadily and eventually compete for trophy's or european spots they're sold on the promise of moving up in the football pyramid should they do well. Thats not exactly the kind of recipe for getting anyone who cares that much about the club.
  18. debatable about if they've quit on him since pretty much the same thing was said last season and then there was the first half of this season when its clear they hadn't but what is clear is they've quit on the season and while Pardew has to take blame for failure to motivate them since we were safe its also a malaise that runs far deeper than just Pardew thats caused by Mike Ashley, there is no ambition at the club to better our current position and that spreads to the players who stop caring about the season when there's absolutely nothing to chase. The squad itself doesn't help as there is no leader at all in the dressing room or anyone who is even close to qualifying as one. Loss of motivation with nothing to play for is one thing, getting hammered by 3's an 4's week in week out would suggest a more serious problem. perhaps but the timing of this downturn is too closely timed to when we're basically safe to ignore personally. But the pattern of big defeats is nowt new and says as much about the squads tendency to just say fuck it and give up in matchs as it does Pardew. I say fuck the lot of them and get rid of them all but thats not likely sadly.
  19. I look forward to the conspiracy claims that the premier league and or fa are out to stop Liverpool winning the title to preserve Man Utd's place as most titles in England.

  21. I'd go for someone who was good at his job first then look at style. There aren't many football managers who are good at their job but play an appalling brand of football. its Ashley making the decision neither is particularly likely when its comes round and personally I'd prefer to hope for someone anyone competent.
  22. yup even when they're playing shite and the defense is shooting itself in the foot there's always the outlet in the pace of sturridge or the ridiculous ability of suarez.
