  1. sssh minor details like biggest win percentage at Real Madrid (for someone who has managed more than 1 match) and getting Malaga (where he and his players wages are apparently 2 months late) to the Quarter Final of the champions league plus Villareal to Semi Final on their first go each time can't override the fact that he isn't the media darling Jose who will give them lots to talk and write about
  2. Gameweek 34: Fulham 1-2 Arsenal Norwich 2-1 Reading QPR 2-1 Stoke City Sunderland 1-2 Everton Swansea 1-0 Southampton West Brom 2-0 Newcastle West Ham 1-2 Wigan Tottenham 0-2 Man City Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea Man Utd 2-0 Aston Villa
  3. or at the very least make it for 21 or younger this 23 malarkey is ridiculous
  4. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8653524/Chelsea-captain-John-Terry-snubs-FA-chairman-David-Bernstein-at-London-ceremony what a mature nice guy and not at all egocentric guy John Terry is
  5. Bales has been the best out of that lot, Benteke for young player. Where the hell is Michu mind should be there ahead of Hazard
  6. so are other clubs allowed to talk about other clubs players openly because I could swear that was against the rules or doesn't it count when PSG break rules (you know small things like FFP etc)
  7. SunSport Now ‏@SunSportNow 1m Manuel Pellegrini is in talks with Chelsea, story to follow
  8. They have some amazing players, but Benitez has knit them together really well. Chelsea fans are mongs for still trying to hound him out. I'm watching this team move the ball and I have no idea why they're unhappy with Rafa. because he said some nasty things about them while managing another club and he won't play their lionhearted captain leader legend blah blah blah formerly englands brave john terry
  9. mata aguero and rooney all first goalscorers 153-1
  10. this one seems less in response to sunday more to hippo head saying West Ham can't afford him
  11. Carroll Cisse Hba Sissoko Cabaye Tiote With Debuchy & Santon doing a lot of work down the sides. Hba free to do what he wants. in theory Debuchy and Santon would find a lot of joy with Carroll fighting for the ball
  12. his forms actually good lately best since he left
  13. good to see Wraith trading in horseshit as usual. Not going to happen imho because a) wages b) I think he'll want to go straight into a cl job c) he's a control freak who demands complete control over transfers (going by time at liverpool, pointless judging him by time at chelsea in that regard) and is very willing to battle openly with the board, can you really see Llambias and Ashley going for that? Anyways my dislike of Rafa has gone way down simply because of the shit he's put up with from the Chelsea "fans"
  14. get the same feeling, almost seems like it Ashley trying to prove a point on the clubs transfer acumen attempting to get him back at less than half the price. As for Carroll why not, we need another striker anyway so why not him
  15. arsenal aren't at the races at all tonight
  16. another 60k sellout then according to arsenal pr
  17. Mark Douglas ‏@MsiDouglas 2m A big (in more ways than one) #nufc transfer tale in tomorrow's packed Journal - with all the latest from #safc & Falcons too...
  18. probably a meek everton surrender tbh (watch them win now i've nailed my colours to the mast)
  19. Even if it he wasn't a massive twat i have huge reservations on him working under the transfer policy we currently have. his approach vs Levy's approach (similar enough to ours) is what got him the sack at Spurs more than actual performance
  20. The board will only appoint someone they can work with so that scenario's a false one. As for the players liking pardew, I think a lot of them would far rather have a manager who makes best use of their talent. I get your point, but it's very possible they will also misjudge the appointment, and/or their approach will limit the choice of managers. I admit this isn't as much of a problem as it was during the worst days of Ashley. the approach won't be a problem really, the era where the manager is the absolute dictator of all things in the club is practically dead with Ferige and Wenger about the only real examples left (and I have serious doubts about Wenger still having that kind of power)
  21. I still also find it hard to picture Ashley not only paying whatever the compo for Pardew (if he goes) is but also paying compensation for someone in a job, hence I think the only realistic options are unemployed managers.
