that a verified account? if so fair play but you think he'd be able to get someone to spell check for him. I bet his English is better than your Dutch/French.

Hmm, at first sight I thought the face was a bit 'off', especially when compared to this which sits in the players entrance and is made by the same sculptor. http://www.isiphotos.net/images/index.proxy.php?cmd=image&image_id=117630 But, I think that is just down to the fact it's brand new and shiny so everything stands out more, plus the fact your looking up at it rather than straight at it. It looks absolutely brilliant when seen from a little further back.

Like I said earlier, great to see the mutual respect from the fans at the end too, both sets applauded each other and shook hands on the way out.

Class, calling it St James' too. One of the best performances I've seen at SJP from him today, absolute man mountain.
-
We should send HTT on loan there, they'd call it quits in no time.
-
Just a farewell from him, was the last man out.
-
Bought? He'd get it for nowt man. Aye. Canny disappointed he doesn't have his dad's hair like, would be class if he was a proper little mini-me.
-
You'd think Colo could've at least bought his lad this season's top.

Just seen this on Twitter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=8aDHMF-yIxo#!

Don't think it will. Maybe somebody can confirm? I thought if Chelsea win the CL, but miss out on CL qualification they get a CL spot as defending champions at the expense of 4th, but the league get an extra EL spot. So 4th get the extra spot and Chelsea in 5/6th get CL which in turn passes on their EL spot from winning the Cup to the league.
-
Fulham and Everton still have something to play for; 7th will be good enough for a Europa spot should Chelsea win the CL, won't it? Plus there's Jol vs his old club and Roy's farewell. Should be an interesting trio of fixtures and I'm just glad we're a part of it with so much to play for.

Starting to look like an absolute bargain, can play anywhere across the defence, or anchor the midfield, no questions asked.

Fair play, fantastic effort from everyone at SJP today, well Howard Webb aside. We can hold our heads high and go into the final game knowing we still have a chance of finishing third, albeit a slim chance, but it's a monumental achievement regardless of where we eventually finish. Congratulations to City too, their fans impressed me at the end, mutual respect shown from both sets of fans after the final whistle as each applauded the other on the way out the stadium. I still don''t like seeing club buying the title, but you can't begrudge their fans this one. Also echo the sentiments re:Lovenkrands, seems like a brilliant guy who has loved and fully appreciated his time at the club, wish him all the best in the future.

Pardew's been in conversation with Gazza most the time, no doubt Gazza was pushing for a place on the phone bench later.
-
Think it's fairly clear he's not content with just being a squad player and that he sees himself as someone who should be first choice. I'd be more than happy to keep him on as back up, but it's just not going to happen as far as I can see.
-
Aye, it's a properly fucking massive game. Probably the biggest I'll have been to, it's basically a cup final in our own back yard.
-
Aye, either that or some random Eastern European place; nice, picturesque Eastern Europe as opposed to radgie Eastern Europe though.
-
Aye, maybe if you consider nothing less than Kompany and Marcelo significant improvement to the defence.
-
Would also rather we didn't have to spend all summer worrying about getting knocked out in the qualification round. To get that close and miss out would be stomach churning.

Tackles so good they're cheered like a goal.
