  1. Don't think I've ever laughed at football as much as I did for Vaughan's goal there. Absolutely hilarious.
  2. Tbf, Man Utd sung it for Hargreaves before us.
  3. Is the Emirates Stadium a carbon copy of Benfica's?
  4. 56 days is a bit OTT, but it's obvious they're making an example of him. Sends out a pretty clear message that shit like this simply won't be tolerated.
  5. Aye, but it might be a laugh. And at the end of the day it doesn't really matter, this England team are destined to fail regardless of who's in charge.

  7. I'd rather Hoddle than most the names being touted for it tbh.
  8. Fucked his life up for a couple of banterific tweets. He'll never get over that, the silly twat.

SJP will never be suitable for gigs, to do so the East Stand would have to be extended and that's impossible due to listed buildings behind it.
  10. With Perch and Willo in the centre he doesn't have much choice. It'll most likely be Simpson and Santon either side of them. I thought Raylor is back for this one? In which case I fully expect to see him come in at LB and Perch moving to CB, with the rest of the team unchanged.

It won't include that £44m, just as our own operating loss (which was ten times smaller ) didn't include the Carroll money. In fact, I don't think the Henderson deal will ever have come into the equation on these results as it was done in the next financial year as far as I'm aware.
  12. No way Santon will start, Pardew won't fancy such an attacking full back, who likes to bomb forward whenever the opportunity presents itself, in the absence of Coloccini, possibly rightfully so. Although personally I'd definitely have him in ahead of Simpson

He's not a trouble maker and has never been. Pure invention of his detractors. I don't know like, there was that whole going on strike and flying over here without anyone's permission thing.

Aye. The same Brighton team that knocked Sunderland out of the League Cup, you fucking thick twat. Doesn't count man, they'd have the league cup in the bag if MON was manager then.

Love how they've included us in the easy home games they've dropped points in; alongside WBA, Wigan, Villa and Fulham . They outright refuse to concede we are where we are on merit.

It might help that the players involved in our attack are actually fucking good for once Ba, Cisse, Cabaye, Jonas....all technically and positionally competent...as opposed to Shola, Best, Raylor... Did anyone else notice HBA's reluctance to pass to Simpson? He wriggled away from a few defenders in the first half down the byline, passed to Simpson, who prodded the ball down the line into open play.. as in, not even an attempted pass... just away. Noteworthy in that it wasn't a lofted ball either. Anyway, I can't recall Ben Arfa passing to Simpson more than twice after that I remember a point in the second half where Simpson passed to him and he was instantly surrounded by a few WBA. Passing back to Simpson seemed to be the only possible option, but he tried to take them all on instead.

Pardew's masterplan all along, he's an evil genius.
  21. That's the only positive I took from the stadium rebranding. If he's willing to forgo all the possible advertising revenue to promote his brand, we're going to have to get a lot of exposure for it to be worth it to him. Plus everyone in this country is already well aware of Sports Direct (and over here the stadium will remain known almost unanimously as SJP) and what it offers, I think the aim of it is to promote Sports Direct abroad, and if he wants to do this successfully European football will help massively.
  22. I know he's been shite all season, but I don't fancy Williamson and Perch in the air against Carroll, old lads always seem to have a knack of coming back and scoring too. Think we're going to have to score a few if we want to win.
  23. James Satterley ‏ @the_gun_sh0w @dembabafoot Well done today Demba! Keep sharing that strawberry syrup with Hatem and Cisse! Demba Ba ‏ @dembabafoot @the_gun_sh0w hahaha. I think they took everything i had left at home
