http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/blackburndarwenhyndburnribble/9596085.Away_fans_not_welcome_in_Blackburn_pub/ Seen this on RTG, apparently they had fenced it all off for them tonight, it was closed for the refit when we were down there earlier in the season. Should be interesting trying to see them enforce this if they stay in the league and we get a decent kick off time down there next season, Fernherst car park is home to some brilliant away day memories and it's normally one of our best supported away days.

10 point gap now, what was it when the jumped up paddy took over, 12? Progress!

Nice to see BBC have ironed out all the problems with their live updates. They managed to miss 20 minutes and 5 goals in the Leeds - Forest game. http://oi40.tinypic.com/29fr2fc.jpg

http://www.wolves.co.uk/javaImages/db/b8/0,,10307~10533083,00.jpg Well I meant not in the outside. I saw those signs during my trip a few weeks ago, just wanted to know if inside the stadium it was written... I'm just so glad I took pictures of the "St James' Park" signs just a few days before they took them off... Sports Direct covers almost every inch of free space inside the stadium.

Semi-final isn't it?

In the 2006 season we had the combination of :Babayaro, Carr, Boumsoung, Bramble, Taylor, Edgar, Ramage, Oneywu and Huntington to pick from, from that point onwards most back 4's looked pretty f***ing great to me. http://images.memegenerator.net/instances/400x/16692787.jpg

Still a very classy back 4 mind.

What's the parking meter zone?

Was in the papers today btw that a Cardiologist from the crowd did get onto the pitch to help, it wasn't the same bloke who was on Twitter though.

Aye, I mock, but I'll definitely be picking up a bottle next time I'm in town.

You can now buy Demba's syrup at the club shop and in Shearer's. Was only a matter of time until they tried to make some money off it. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20120320/star-strikers-syrup-comes-to-toon_2281670_2685407

Will give the article a proper read later. Interesting that they were keen to publicise how well they're running the club from a financial POV, but were reluctant to really tell the whole story with regards to how much money they made. Although, I suppose, it's also understandable.

In which case, why is player amortisation included in the operating loss, but profit on player sales isn't?
-
So the initial figure that came out a couple weeks ago of an operating loss of £3.9m was before player trading? And after player trading was taken into account we had a £30m+ profit?

From St Andrew's church which sits down the road, opposite Gallowgate. http://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/422029_10150668736109659_517484658_9058489_32402532_n.jpg

Aye, but he doesn't have a beautiful, permed Argie at the heart of his defence. Coloccini already covers for the rest of the defence for the majority of the game so why not just simplify the whole process and take them out the equation? Conventional mainstream formations are shit man, we need to be the formation hipsters of the league, Pardew's got the stupid specs so we're already half way there.
-
Just gan wild and play neither Williamson or Perch at CB. Krul Coloccini Santon Jonas Perch Tiote Guthrie Cabaye Ben Arfa Ba Cisse Problem solved.

How come the we've got less qualification places since the Inter-Toto was abolished? Previously there was 4 CL spots, 3 Uefa spots and an Inter-Toto spot. I thought the Europa League was supposed to be Uefa + Inter Toto.
-
Did you ignore everything in my last post? Take the Mirror article and substitute City for Chelsea and Stoke for Everton/Sunderland.
-
Depends whether what the Chronicle says is right, there's still a chance Chelsea could beat Everton/Sunderland in the final and take the FA Cup's Europa League spot, leaving the spot usually filled by 5th place in the league to 6th. Eh? How? Winning the FA Cup takes/took precedence over finishing 5th in the league as it's seen as the bigger achievement (understandable) and so Chelsea would qualify for the Europa League as the FA Cup winners. This would mean that the Europa League spot for the league would be up for grabs to the highest place non qualifiers (6th or 7th depending on where Liverpool finish). Like I said, the comments in the Chronicle suggest otherwise, but I'd be inclined to believe this from the Mirror over the Chron because I think it's up to the FA how they allocate European places rather than UEFA.
