Makes sense to me. Gallowgate will still create some noise due to acoustics/Corner etc. A corner at the opposite end would be great, close to away fans, brings the Leazes in to it more as well. My dad always says the Leazes was the original end! ’Tottenham’s always running, Chelsea, Arsenal too! The Leazes end is coming, we’re coming after you! United, United, United!’

Was quite funny. Was in a pub in Piccadilly on Saturday. We we’re singing ‘SuperMac Superstar’ , Terry Hibbit, Alan Gowling with my dad and his mates. Shearer’s son and his mates were in there and had absolutely no fucking idea what we were singing. They got it eventually as we consistently sang SuperMac until they knew the lyrics and joined in. Like you say, it’s all about learning. We’ve all been there!

I’m actually in disbelief at that exchange@Heron. She clearly knows who you are, so no doubt knows you’re in WF and you’re a chant starter - and comes out with that? Unbelievable.

More than happy helping pull this together. I’m not sure if it’s best creating a group, then speaking with WF and the Trust (no doubt some crossover) to move forward. I do have a way into the club, if the above didn’t want to go through those channels. I wouldn’t want to use as me on my own tbh, it would have to be as a legitimate platform. Perhaps we could do a poll or going off a like feature to get the group going on here, then a WhatsApp/Facebook group.

If there’s any group of fans that can play a significant role in sorting it out, it’s members off this forum; it’s been proven before!

@Wallsendmagand @pedro111. Fantastic posts and I agree wholeheartedly. I was speaking to one of the WF lads over a pint on Sunday night and he said very similar. As someone now locked out, but fortunately getting in through a membership, I’m one of the luckier ones I suppose. From a selfish perspective, I hope stadium expansion gets me a ST back. However, also selfishly I’m also fearful of others who may succeed. Plenty of people sat on their phones throughout the game…I was honestly shocked on Sunday. My dad and I chanted ‘Eddie Howe’s Black and White Army’ for 2 and a half minutes. Around 6 people joined in. The others looked at us as if we were mad It genuinely only takes about 6 of us singing the same song for the same amount of time in the Leazes East Corner to eventually get the lower Leazes and pockets of the East Stand joining in. We live and learn I suppose. Certainly a discussion for the club and WF to have I suppose. The safe standing survey fills me with confidence - unless a majority of people said they didn’t want one? ?

Some of the lads have had money back from their bank as a good will gesture. Which is great news for them. We haven’t got anything back yet. Police investigation ongoing. I’ll be ringing the club when I get home.
