  1. If the software isn’t good enough they should have left it as it was last season. Idiotic

Cheers man. There’s a few ST holders up there who’ll no doubt keep it going. However, there was also a very large membership congregation in that section too. The club are fucking tbh. Our atmosphere is one of our biggest assets and they’ll get rid of it if they’re not too careful. How long before some fans realise they can’t afford to pay £1000-£2000 for a Gallowgate or Leazes ST in the future? How many Wor Flags lads and lasses may be priced out? These are serious questions.

You don’t, do you? Nice ?

Yep. Mr and Mrs Holly Avenue in Jesmond might not like the back row of the Gallowgate for example.

Gutted I’ll basically never get on the back row of the NE corner again. Quite a few of us were members and would purposefully select those seats.
  6. I’m annoyed you stooped to that

  8. Not sure why this is even a debate. Mehrdad has said they’d never leave. We will be able to expand the Gallowgate (we were going to do it under Shepherd and I’m sure technology has improved in the last 15-20 years). We clearly will be able to do something with the East Stand. It will happen, I’m sure of it. They’ve already started dripping that East Stand info into the public domain - so there must be something in it.

I’m more confused that you stand nearer a back row and it looks further down. Was this taken during one of your poke people in the eye walkabouts?

Not sure how you’d increase capacity by 10,000 with an East Stand expansion.
  11. I think both opinions are allowed here. The tickets ARE expensive but if you can’t afford to go, then it seems you can’t go. I personally think this is an own goal from the club. Category A tickets against Man City, Arsenal etc were £41 last season. I think an increase of 34% is a lot for a game that could be against an inferior opponent in Pot 3 such as Salzburg. Just because it’s branded as the UCL doesn’t mean the match is going to be any better.

I seem to recall talking about Atlanta for a bit and how he’s found the transition. And how he grew Atlanta to what it is now. He was talking about the untapped potential and weekends like Sam Fender showed it. He wants to do more gigs, raise commercial etc etc. I don’t think his nieces (fit btw) appreciated me just thanking him (a lot) for the job he’s doing Was also bizarre seeing Mehrdad interrupting the conversation to leave in what I think was cycling gear.

Just had an awful flashback to rambling on to Darren Eales last night ?
  14. Black and white stripes on the back, red numbers, 1983 style collar, black and white sponsor. I think I’ll actually have to buy it I haven’t bought a new toon top (only retro) since 2007. The yellow Noon sticker is the only thing that ruins it imo. I hate sleeve sponsors in general. I honestly think this is already a modern classic.
  15. Stop saying “first major trophy in 58 years” They won the FA Cup in 1980 ffs

Such a good and under utilised chant
  17. This is what I was thinking? Has he actually?
  18. Fucking love Howe man. Amazing job and a great bloke to boot. If we do take a backward step next season, as we challenge on four fronts, with a guaranteed extra 6 games to boot (minimum), we have to back him and the process. He’s earned it 1000x over. I do have a big fear that if we were to finish say 6th or below, PIF may well get restless and look for a ‘bigger’ name to charge back for the Champions League. Seeing as we’re already probably around 3 years ahead of schedule - it may take a little time for us to really consolidate ourselves regularly into the Top 4. Just look at Arsenal, it’s taken them 6-7 years to get back into the top 4. Liverpool now likely to miss out too. It can happen. And I’m sure the Big 6 will be gunning for us next season. FYI that is something I have been told previously and it is the only thing that worries me about PIF having a majority say on certain footballing matters.
