We’ve had an awful day and an awful weeks. I’m with you and the other lads all the way. Disgusting what’s happened tbh.

I’m not sure how to say this and I won’t tag the forum member in this (unless he wants me to). I’ve gone from the absolute pits to the highest of highs in a few hours. A wonderful, wonderful person off this forum has kindly met me tonight in London and gifted me his tickets. He wouldn’t take any money. We’ve had a few beers and a great time together. My dad and I will be donating to a charity of his choice, as was his request. This forum, has been a part of my life for more than half of my life. I’ve met so many of you from this, and my life is better for it. I hope all of you meeting up for the first time on Sunday enjoy it, as you’ll make friends for life. What a fucking place this is. I love you all.

Even if I get my money back (which I do bloody want) - it’s the experience that’s been stolen. I’ve wanted to be at Wembley with my dad my whole life. We both jacked our season tickets in together and we’ve been going to every game this season together as members, we always knew it was a long shot in the ballot…but this opportunity was too good to turn down. We knew there was a risk - but why not risk it. We wanted to be there together. We’ve been played for fools, as have the others, but for it to be done by people, who are very traceable! Is sickening..

I’ll be starting as much ‘rogue’ stuff as I can in Trafalgar Square on Saturday night. Get it right there, and it’ll be taken into the ground. Takeover Night, I left SJP after 2 hours or so after finishing my cans and went to the Strawberry. I’d been there from just before it was announced, and I must have heard the same 6 songs on repeat for 2 hours. Can’t blame the young lads, they’ve probably never heard the songs tbf. But they need to be educated and they need to WANT to be. A lot of my education was having a ST next to the Toon Ultras and travelling on away buses as a young lad (14+).

Noted As a member I try and get my seats there on the regular, and generally have been able to all season. It would be great if it was a secondary option to the Strawberry Corner. It certainly has its moments. But a large chunk in that part of the ground are definitely ticket only and not STs. So the atmosphere fluctuates hugely on a game by game basis.

Managed the game very well when we went down to 10 men. It was great to see us still trying to attack with 2 up top, it’s just a shame we couldn’t sneak a goal. However, still really confused why we didn’t start a cup tied Gordon. Also find it a wee bit worrying that Liverpool are the first side to comfortably work out a way to confuse our back 4 - and it was simply long balls and splitting the defence. Very old school and very simple, yet it worked. It’ll be very interesting to see how Eddie will look to change things up (if at all) moving forward.
