Makes sense to me. Gallowgate will still create some noise due to acoustics/Corner etc. A corner at the opposite end would be great, close to away fans, brings the Leazes in to it more as well. Was quite funny. Was in a pub in Piccadilly on Saturday. We we’re singing ‘SuperMac Superstar’ , Terry Hibbit, Alan Gowling with my dad and his mates. Shearer’s son and his mates were in there and had absolutely no fucking idea what we were singing. They got it eventually as we consistently sang SuperMac until they knew the lyrics and joined in. Like you say, it’s all about learning. We’ve all been there!

More than happy helping pull this together. I’m not sure if it’s best creating a group, then speaking with WF and the Trust (no doubt some crossover) to move forward. I do have a way into the club, if the above didn’t want to go through those channels. I wouldn’t want to use as me on my own tbh, it would have to be as a legitimate platform. Perhaps we could do a poll or going off a like feature to get the group going on here, then a WhatsApp/Facebook group.

If there’s any group of fans that can play a significant role in sorting it out, it’s members off this forum; it’s been proven before!

@Wallsendmagand @pedro111. Fantastic posts and I agree wholeheartedly. I was speaking to one of the WF lads over a pint on Sunday night and he said very similar. As someone now locked out, but fortunately getting in through a membership, I’m one of the luckier ones I suppose. From a selfish perspective, I hope stadium expansion gets me a ST back. However, also selfishly I’m also fearful of others who may succeed. Plenty of people sat on their phones throughout the game…I was honestly shocked on Sunday. My dad and I chanted ‘Eddie Howe’s Black and White Army’ for 2 and a half minutes. Around 6 people joined in. The others looked at us as if we were mad It genuinely only takes about 6 of us singing the same song for the same amount of time in the Leazes East Corner to eventually get the lower Leazes and pockets of the East Stand joining in. We live and learn I suppose. Certainly a discussion for the club and WF to have I suppose. The safe standing survey fills me with confidence - unless a majority of people said they didn’t want one? ?

We’ve had an awful day and an awful weeks. I’m with you and the other lads all the way. Disgusting what’s happened tbh.

I’m not sure how to say this and I won’t tag the forum member in this (unless he wants me to). I’ve gone from the absolute pits to the highest of highs in a few hours. A wonderful, wonderful person off this forum has kindly met me tonight in London and gifted me his tickets. He wouldn’t take any money. We’ve had a few beers and a great time together. My dad and I will be donating to a charity of his choice, as was his request. This forum, has been a part of my life for more than half of my life. I’ve met so many of you from this, and my life is better for it. I hope all of you meeting up for the first time on Sunday enjoy it, as you’ll make friends for life. What a fucking place this is. Even if I get my money back (which I do bloody want) - it’s the experience that’s been stolen. I’ve wanted to be at Wembley with my dad my whole life. We both jacked our season tickets in together and we’ve been going to every game this season together as members, we always knew it was a long shot in the ballot…but this opportunity was too good to turn down. We knew there was a risk - but why not risk it. We wanted to be there together. We’ve been played for fools, as have the others, but for it to be done by people, who are very traceable!
