Used to be great in the singing section 2009-2011ish. Haven’t really been up there since but could understand why people think it’s poor if there’s little atmosphere. A massive family enclosure doesn’t help.

Some love it and some hate it. I got some weird looks for singing about Terry Hibbitt in the away end at Fulham. Bear in mind we were singing the Andy Cole, David Kelly, Rob Lee song for 5 minutes non stop. FYI my first game was 2001 so it’s not like I ever saw him play, but any song to do with the club is great imo. So have to agree with Heron as per usual.

The irony with WF is that at times I feel that without them the atmosphere is stale. It’a almost meant that without the flags (or smaller scale demos), the atmosphere from the majority of the crowd is replicated. The flags shouldn’t be there to coerce an atmosphere - only to enhance it. The Arsenal Ultras, are giving it a good go, and credit to them. I agree it doesn’t sit right, and I can’t put my finger on it. But I’ve seen a few Arsenal videos now, and if they don’t go for it the rest of the Clock End don’t go for it either. It’s actually quite a tough balance imo.
