  1. This sound you're hearing is half the forum transferring Schürrle in.
  2. He does drift to the centre, that's pretty much his game. Diagonal runs behind the defenders or getting late into the box. He took people on without problems there, though.
  3. Reckon Lamela will fare better under Poche? Liked him a lot in Italy, and would love to see him succeed in England.
  4. He played upfront for Tenerife, but started as an attacking midfielder. He's played just one year of senior football, so he hasn't really a dominant position yet.
  5. Costa flourished as Falcao's support until he found new shooting boots. For what little I saw of yesterday's game this lad looked a potentially good SS.
  6. 38 so far, with Cap'n Costa and two others left to play.
  7. Banega to Sevilla for €2.5m, will be reunited with Emery there. I'm a bit surprised by it, since clashes between Emery and Banega were notorious during their Valencia days.
  8. I wish he signed for a Spanish club, a "manola" is a "w***" in Spanish.
  9. The towel cracked me up every time.
  10. By the way, a Spanish court has ordered La Liga to re-admit Real Murcia in Liga Adelante, after they had been relegated due to non-compliance with our FFP rules.
  11. Peter Lim as finalised the purchase of Valencia, after reaching an agreement with the club's main creditor (a Spanish bank).
  12. Sherwood How is he even considered a "real" manager? Eight months ago he was just a coach and he's done nothing to prove otherwise. He was massively out of his depth.
  13. Heck, Atlético might compete again this year. A huge coup. Happy to see world class players somewhere else than us or Madrid.
  14. Stones, glass houses and all that, but Koeman
  15. Okay, changes! Krul, Mannone Debuchy, Filipe Luís, Caulker, Van Aanholt, Hutton (yes, *that* Hutton) Fàbregas, Ramsey, Mata, Sigurdsson, Isgrove Costa, Remy, Lukaku This iteration of the team is a bit cheaper than the last, and leaves me with 1.5 to play with once the game starts.
  16. We did that once. It was quite fun. Only rule was that all budget had to be spent (with a 0.4 margin to account for rises and falls).
  17. Damn, time to transfer out all my Palace defenders.
  18. The only way this makes sense is if Cuadrado ends up coming and Alves stays, since then Cuadrado can eventually cover the wing. EDIT: Unless Lucho *really* likes Munir...
  19. If Deulofeu leaves that's Pedro as the only senior cover for the front three, barring Iniesta going the wing. It's a stupid decision, but it seems Luís Enrique doesn't fancy him at all. It's true that the guy has big holes in his game, but imho he should stay with us and see if he can learn. His potential is immense.
  20. Deulofeu to Sevilla on loan. Fucking hell man, I can't catch a break this season. We might even finish third this year.
  21. Hate it when players do this He's 29 and he has already gone as high as he can. Can't blame him for securing one big contract.
  22. They can't make up rules as they go, though. And I'm pretty sure regular courts would have a field day if they tried to strong-arm somebody out of employment this way (training is ultimately what clubs pay players for). What the CAS has ultimately done is saying "you can have your playing ban, but not the other stuff".
  23. FIFA only has authority on what FIFA does. They can't ban him from training or for games they (or member FAs) don't organize. I guess he'll play this Monday then? Now I have reason to go to the Gamper; won't be able to see our 80 million player until almost Christmas.
  24. Shaw is out for a month, in case you haven't been following. And Van Aanholt is a makem I Have a soft spot for Paddy Van Aanholt since he played for yous in the C'ship. Plus I was only looking for a cheap fullback that is likely to start for a lower midtable team, he'll be 5th choice and I'm looking to play 3-4-3
