  1. La Liga table if only goals from Spanish players counted. http://elcorreoweb.es/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Imagen-GRan-Breves.jpg
  2. It just seems a recycled, nothing to see here, article to me. No quotes, abuse of "XXXX understands", "apparently", names recycled from previous links... Waste of time.
  3. Douglas, Sakho and Tomkins. Spot the odd one out. Bit of a fluff generic "XXX are interested in YYY" article, though, using previously seen names.

Have Sunderland signed players already? I had not noticed.

    Papiss Cissé

Had a better case for that last season than now.
  6. Interesting. Can you elaborate on both counts? ManU and Guardiola respectively?
  7. Nope. For the most part it's symbolic rather than genuinely meaningful. Particularly in our case right now. Aye, leaders come to the fore whether they wear it or not, and wearing it doesn't make you one either. In Spain captaincy is just adjudicated by seniority, so I suppose it's less of a big deal.
  8. Am I the only one that thinks the armband is just a prop nowadays?
  9. How many transfer windows on the trot have you been linked with this guy already? I recall his name coming up in 2011.
  10. To be honest it reeks of simulated transfer to keep agents in their good books.
  11. My dog just crapped in the living room. FML.
  12. Madrid have bought Casemiro from Sao Paulo for €6m, after spending six months on loan at their B team. Bit of a puzzler this one, he's looked pretty average even in Liga Adelante.

  14. Lost the league early on so threw the towel in. You can throw in the towel without burning bridges like he did, finger-pointing the players and getting into rifts with people like Ramos or Casillas. Trying to pass the buck and bring it all down like a pack of cards knowing he's leaving? That's pretty much the vibe I got, in autumn he already knew he was leaving.

  16. From the first months of the season it was clearly apparent that Mourinho was set on leaving RM this year. Don't think he had got wind of SAF retiring/Mancini being fired...
  17. Depends on how quickly Pellegrini can adapt to the Premier League, Mou already has the experience so he has the edge. But Mou's squad isn't as good as the Man City one... We'll see at the end of the transfer window.

  19. Mou has gone to them at a good time. Both of the main contenders for the title have changed managers and will also have to go through transitional times. Wouldn't surprise me if ManU finished third next season, but I've been saying that for nearly 3-4 years already. No SAF this time, though.
  20. It's fun, we'll miss him. I hate when Real Madrid has too many non-c***s in charge, like the Del Bosque era.
  21. ...only for it to be resumed the following year.
  22. and Jonas. 3 for the price of one. Then they'll lower their bid to 18m.
  23. Nope, he had a knack for disrespecting other teams, like what he said about Sporting Gijón or Málaga, or when he celebrated a goal in front of Villarreal's bench, etc... among many others. In general, Real Madrid fans loved him until this season, I'd say is 50/50 right now.
  24. Live on Spanish TV, so obsessed
