Arsenal will struggle to make fourth if we swindle Cesc off them, imho.

Rumor that we are closing on a shirt-sponsorship-but-not-really-a-shirt-sponsorship deal with Pepsi for €22m a season. Sucks, but guess we'll have to go down that way...
-
Or at all since I have yet to see it reinvested. Have the owners used the money to cover the debts?
-
Heh, thanks.

The one game where he scored against Barca I take it? That is one but I watched some of the Libertadores games the season they won it! He just looked a very smart forward, always getting into good positions and making clever runs. I can see why people would say he's benefitted from having Verón in the team, though.

And it's up http://www.marca.com/deporte/futbol/primera-division/calendario/ Third time on the trot we play at the Bernabéu in the run-in...

I like Boselli a lot from - the admittedly little - I have seen from it.

Preventive prison, the authorities have 48 hours to present formal charges against them. Suppose they'll get a bail and then released until trial.

Ribery and Benzema jailed after talking today to the judge re: Zahia (breaking report by As)

Atlético have signed Filipe Luís for €12m. Great signing, best LB in La Liga right now.
-
Those were leaked yesterday, La Liga said they were fake.

ManU have 23534653423512 strikers though. Although Hernández has a chance to displace Berbatov I guess. Silva was developing into a great player by the end of last season, we'll see how the move to the PL affects him, though, although I think he moved too early and he isn't the most physical of players to be frank.

The boy is one of my favourite players at the club right now, and I would hate it if he left. He's unquestionably talented and he works extremely talented. For OM he has played in the centre and on the right of midfield. He also did quite a fine job at right back. He's a very good player, but honestly I'm not sure if he's good enough to be playing for Barcelona. I'd wish him well if he went, but I think he'd be better off staying tbh. edit: I would have thought Benayoun a replacement for Deco rather than Cole. The profile we are looking for is somebody that would provide the physicality of Touré while being content playing second fiddle to Busquets in general.

Asked him on twitter about it and claiming he's been watched by a scout this weekend An NUFC scout is following Simon Bird around?
-
We are heavily linked with Kaboré from OM. Babatunde I summon you: is he any good?

According to reports in our press, Florentino was willing to go as high as €30m for Gerrard. Liverpool wanted €50m or some stupid thing like that.
-
FFS they both played in the last WC, and one of them started a CL final against an English club one year ago
-
That's pretty much the wages Liverpool are offering Cole for one year, isn't it?

Always wanted to go and watch games in South America, but should actually go there to begin with. The fans seem such mentalists (in a good way) from watching them on the telly.

Aye, Mallorca is victim of Palma being a crassly gloryhunting town. You have to take into account, though, that "locals" are scarce. Most people living in Palma come from other Spanish cities to work in the tourist/leisure sector which absolutely dominates Mallorca's economy.
-
Weird, what I've noticed about being in Mallorca is that there is a large Barcelona following from many of the locals. Was there on one occasion when Barcelona won the league and there was lots of people celebrating on the streets, cars driving past beeping their horns etc. Mallorca ST holders, however, have typically Real Madrid as their second team. Local Barça fans don't care much about Mallorca since they are 4 hours away of Camp Nou and boats are supercheap. For a similar reason there's a big contingent of Valencia fans there (a lot of people from Valencia work in Mallorca since they are very close by boat).

Typical Mallorca Went to see some NYRB games at the Giants stadium which was s****, other than that I watched Arsenal at Highbury with the Invincibles at the top of their pomp. Simply incredible footballing experience... I remember thinking how far we were from that at the time! Caught some football in Berlin and Prague when I lived there too. Spartak's stadium was simply s**** but for some reason I loved it

I have never been to Turkey, but a Fenerbahce game looks something that has to be experienced and I myself would love to watch one. The atmosphere looks simply incredible. Surely it can't be a problem if you chose your seat away from the most troublesome firms/away fans?
