  1. I was particularly thinking of Blackburn and Stoke when suggesting this It's not only the games that finished 0-0, but games where a team set out to get this and possibly failed or nicked a goal. you mean switzerland ? Inter

  3. Or award zero points for a 0-0 draw. This way teams can't go out and play for it hoping to nick one goal, since they risk getting fuck all.
  4. Teams on equal points is too rare an ocurrance in a long league tournament that a change in it tie-breaker rules would influence team's strategies, in my opinion. We could give 2 points to the team with most shots on goal in case of a tie. Dunno about knockout tournaments however.

  6. Nice to see the French imploding
  7. Well, I'm sure spats like those happen all the time in the heat of the moment and we don't learn about them and are dealt with internally. But when it was leaked they had no other option than to punish Anelka. So I can see where Evra's coming from. Plus I'm sure all of them think he was right.
  8. Brazil trying to get Drogba ruled out http://www.goal.com/en/news/1863/world-cup-2010/2010/06/19/1985166/world-cup-2010-brazil-ponder-rejecting-didier-drogbas-use-by?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
  9. Yeste to Al-Whatever in Dubai.
  10. HĂ©rcules is the last team promoted to our First Division after beating IrĂșn 2-0, Betis losing out on head to head despite winning 4-0.
  11. Thought his shirt was written on Klingon or something.
  12. Cracking game this. Easily the most entertaining so far.
  13. Emana looks up for it for a change. Some cracking minutes.
  14. I have actually bet on Denmark on this, but I would prefer Cameroon to win. Knowing my luck they'll draw.
  15. Gronjkaer man, I had forgot he still played.
  16. Even the people at the offices are like super-hot, felt like an untermensch during my time there.
  17. Some shocking playing by Ghana on the last third, they lack a class forward to truly be dangerous.
  18. I just tuned on the BBC to hear this Mark Bright guy. What a cunt
  19. Gotta say the Ghana shirt is utter class. Also think it was a good call. And if you call it you have to send Kewell off since he's denying a goal no way about it.
  20. <snip> Look at that f***ing dragon, man. Wales Dragon > Buthan Dragon

  22. I agree that Slovenia looked great on the counter today. The yanks were dominating the game when they got punished with that second goal. I want the yanks to go through since I have been living here for a few years already (might end soon though), would also like England to progress since they a more interesting team to watch than Slovenia or Algeria but the drama and tabloid covers if they fail would be amusing too. Also, Germany/Argentina vs England matchups in knockouts are always fun for a neutral.
  23. Slovenia looked weak during the second half today, the US broke through them very easily and the yanks aren't that good. Agree that if England takes the field with the same disposition as today nothing good will come out of it, but they'll be playing for their lives and I expect the ability chasm between both teams to eventually show up.
